Ski Purgatory in January 1998. Duc took up snowboarding in March 1997 and has never returned to skis.
On the left is Duc attempting to make a jump. On the right is his friend, Paul. Duc and his buddies wakeboard on Lake Austin and make frequent spring/summer trips to other nearby wakeboard spots in Louisiana and near Mexico. To catch these avid extremists, wakeboard season begins in late March and ends around late November.
