| Welcome to DudeNews.com, My name is Mike. We started this about a year ago, just talking "hey, wouldn't it be cool if we started a Web Page?" So we did. We have an a true love for Rock n Roll and the people who surround it. There's a feeeling you get when you at rock show and your watching a truely awesome band and we want to try to preserve that for you. We are very thankful for the Road Crews, Managers, Musicians and Promoters who get us on guest lists and get us press passes. This is dedicated to to the Bands and Fans. | DUDE NEWS January 7, 2001 Where do we begin? Well, …. once upon a time, in a place known only to us, dudes were found. Dudes, who is a dude? What makes a dude? Can I be a dude when I grow up (yeah, right!) or is it a metaphorical place and person? Do I really want to be a dude!?! Our DudeDom began as a simple group of geeks (DudeQuote: “geek is no longer a four-letter word, but a $ix figure word”) finding each other (a teacher, a student, a tech, and an attitude). But, in that discovery, what we truly found was a true common interest, good times based on rock and fucking roll!!! At our first concert (damn, that tanya-keyboardist was hot!!), we looked at each other, smiled, tipped another brew and said, “hell, yeah!! This is our time!! Each of us had done, felt the same, but gathered together, dudes were found. And with the power and joy of our collective souls, no stopping “dudes” from taking this place by the balls and pissing on the rest, we’ve found our place, our home, our time!! So, who is a dude? Fuck if we can say for sure, but when you meet one, it’s ganz klar!! What makes a dude? To be honest, …. Then again, maybe that’s all it is, be honest to your dudeness. Don’t fuck with others, and don’t let yourself get fucked (unless of course, your dudepiece wants a little ;) Simplicity and golden rule, every dude respects these ideals. www.dudenews.de (and .com)…. Well, you can clearly see, the .de extension leads here ….. Dude Empire. Our time is now and yours, too. And being a dude is not restrictive in the least, all of us can be (what am I saying, we already are, but do you know it?!) dudes, regardless of sex, age, or any other qualifier. Just BE A DUDE!!
