Hello and welcome to the Hudson family. In the next few pages you will learn some history of our family.
My Grandparents were Arthur and Lizzie Hudson, they were married in Comfry Minnesota on Aug, 5th 1908. They made their home there for several years. On Aug. 7th 1910 they had a son, named Percy, two years went by and a long came a beautiful baby girl on Oct. 16th,1912, they named her Victoria.
It's not clear to me their life for another two years but in 1914 on April 4th Grandma gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, they named him Harold. Soon after Harold was born they all packed up and moved to Benidict North Dakota, sometime between 1914 and 1919
Grandpa was a mail carrier in Benidict for several years and also worked some on the thrashing crews. On May 8th 1919, Grandma had a precious baby boy, his name was Leo. Eleven months later Grandma had another baby boy on April 25th 1920,but the baby did not live as she had small pox during her pregnancy,he is buried in Benidict North Dakota. A couple years went by and another baby was born, a sweet little girl, on September 2nd, 1922, Viola made her arrival.
One year later Grandpa and Grandma thought they would better themselves if they moved to Warba Minnesota so off they moved in 1923. They lived in a big house in town along the river while they built a house on some land in Warba.Three years went by and in 1926 on July 20th Grandma was going to have another baby. There were no doctors available and this little baby was coming with or without one. A neighbor near by helped out and a little girl was born, her name was Ann. |
