NEW: 2000 July 10-> HardCore Software welcomes the newest member of the team, Reaper. We're sure his joining will produce more quality software into the group!

NEW: 2000 June 16-> HardCore Software starts planning a new project which will be know as "Woodbust 2000". This project is in conjuction with Reaper. The project will be the ultimate toold to use in Pen-Hi's computer department and will give normal users considerably more control than they are used to. Actual programming efforts are not scheduled to start until September 2000.

2000 July 2-> HardCore Software now has an official site at www.hardcoresoftware.8m.com!

2000 May 15-> Efforts have already begun in programming the newest version of Brainstar, Brainstar 2.

2000 May 2-> HardCore Software becomes officially involved in www.hackcanada.com's Brainwave machine project, and releases the full-scale software, BrainStar 1.

2000 April 2-> HardCore Software officially merges with Asinine Software. The heads of the two software Companies Fractal(Me) and Tenelien officially shake hands and immeditaly begin pooling their resources to meet the upcoming release of BrainStar 1

2000 Febuary 24-> Chainsaw Charlie 3, the revenge of Shotgun Sam is officially released. The critics aren't terribly impressed and Chainsaw Charlie 3 recieves far less acclaim than anticpipated by it's programmers.

2000 January 5-> Already, hacked versions of Invasion 3 circulate the internet and underground. Some popular versions include Subterrainian terror, and Crack Addict Invasion.

2000 January 3-> HardCore Software turns around and releases Invasion 3, which instantly becomes a classic, household name. There is some surprise that a new project would be released when officially HardCore softwares main project was still BearCountry 3. "I was really looking forward to the new BearCountry, but I'm definatly satisfied with the intense playability of Invasion 3. It really made up for it."-Esso

1999 November 11-> Several server crashes and loss of code have delayed the release of BearCountry 3.0 It is doubtful if this version will ever actually be released.

1999 Septembet 16-> Due to so much interest in the gaming and computer world, not to mention never-before-seen-before scale of praise and recommendations, Master programmer Doug Hoyte starts work on a multi-player version of Bear Country (Bear Country 3.0, ALPHA is currently available for evaluation only. THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RELEASE AND PROBABLY CONTAINS SEVERAL BUGS)

1999 June 14- 1999 September 16-> Bear Country is enjoyed with unprecedented praise and the public largely demands a new Bear Country version, but Hardcore Software has shown no intrest in rereleasing the classic.

1999 June 13-> Hole is found in the save game attachement, Master programmer Doug Hoyte adds a 16 bit encryption protocol to the save game function, foiling the cheaters.

1999 June 11-> Save game attachment is added, so that people can save their game in the middle of the excitement.

1999 April 24-> MIDI file attachement is added so that people can listen to quality NIN music while they play this exciting game.

1999 Febuary 13->Many more addons, weapons, 1 more bear and one more area. Bear Country expansion set is released.

1998 December 23- 1999 Febuary 12-> Bear Country remained a best seller on the shelf, grossing a total of 18.7 million dollars, almost a new record in Video Game marketing.

1998 December 23-> New weapons added, Documentation written, Bear Country officially released.

1998 December 23->Yet more terrain added, now 4 areas, and 6 bears!

1998 December 22->New terrain added, now up to 2 bears.

1998 December 21-> Bear Country initial shell written.
