Places: Born in Vancouver, I've lived in Richmond practically all my life. I remember Memphis (TN, not Egypt), Israel, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Chicago, New York, London, Israel, Montreal, Seattle, Bellingham (the greatest little city in USA), Maple Ridge, Victoria, Strathcona, Squamish. All of them fondly. Except Victoria :p
People: I have two brothers and two sisters. One brother is a rabbi in Israel. One sister is in Medical School in Toronto. Good stuff, eh? My best friend and first love (now ex) is Andrea from Bellingham. My close local buddies include George, Goodbar and Burundo. They supply good laughs, deep conversations, and warm hugs. Don't you hug your friends? :0) Check out my Links page to see Burundo's site and Andrea's. Some pics of me can be found on both. I take no responsibility for them. Other good friends include Matt, Gabe, Sara, David G, Justin and Alison, Eva, Andrea from Calgary and Audrey from Edmonton.
Favourite Vancouver Hang-out: Definitely the Blarney Stone on Carrall Street downtown. It's a dance club with live and recorded rock music and Celtic gigs. An awesome, friendly place with the atmosphere of a real Irish pub.
Instruments I Play: Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, piano and keyboards, electric bass, drums, harmonica, saxophone, violin, anything that'll make a nice sound. Stomachs tend to do nicely - well, the living ones do at least.
While We're on the Topic: I'm always looking for people of all skill levels to jam with. If you're in or around Richmond and wanna have a jam, gimme a ring at burnabyjoe@hotmail.com.
