Bio
I am currently a senior at Endicott College in Beverly, MA. I'll be graduating in May, can't wait for that. My major is Hospitality Management, and when I get out of here, I plan on organizing special events and such. Unfortunately, the economy is really bad for a college graduate. When I came to Endicott, they convinced us all that we'd be getting so many job offers, that we wouldn't even have to try, that employers would be banging down the doors for us, and that our biggest problem would be picking the best job to suit our ambitions. Well.. that's not exactly how things are going.
I went to high school in Woodstock, CT at the very prestigious Woodstock Academy. Heh. I was really involved in activities there, and did a lot of traveling abroad too, which got me into the hospitality industry to begin with. High school was 4 years ago though, so much has changed, so I won't dwell on it any longer.
At this point in my life, my main hobby is trying to relieve my stress. It's really fun. I play tennis, but I haven't in a while. I used to be good., but I guess the deal is if you stop playing you sort of lose your skills. I enjoy photography as well, although I have very little time for that either. It's a shame, because at Endicott I do have access to a darkroom, so I could develop my own photographs, but it's so time consuming I just haven't. When I'm rolling in dough, I'll set up a darkroom in my apartment or house or whatever. It won't be for awhile, so don't hold your breath. I really like music. I think pretty much everybody does. I can't imagine somebody saying, "oh yeah? I hate music! I'll beat up anybody that likes it! AGH!!!". What kind of nut doesn't like music? Anyway, I'm a fan of pretty much everything except country, which is just garbage. You can enter a contest with American Express to do an internship with Jurassic 5. It's only for two weeks, but wouldn't that be something? On my links page, I have a couple of bands that are a bit more local and need some support so check them out and go see their shows and such. They're all located in the Southern New England area.
My life used to be so much more exciting, believe me when I say this. But the drama has left the building, and quite frankly, I'm ok with that.
And finally: Pilates rules. If you've never done pilates, you should get off your butt and try it. You'll be in so much pain!!! But it is a good pain, and it will change everything for you. That's my final thought.
