In 1928, a young man named Walter Elias Disney traveled from New York to Los Angeles. It was during this trip that a star, or rather a mouse, was born. Since that famous train ride, Mickey Mouse and the Walt Disney Company have built an entertainment empire that circles the globe, from the first "Steamboat Willie" comic strip to its newest theme park, Disney Studios Paris.

And now, I will become part of the magic!

On August 14th, 2002, after a multitude of Disney vacations and learning as much about the company as I can, I will take the stage as a Walt Disney World castmember. How? As part of the Walt Disney World College Program!

So until January 10th, 2003, I will leave, eat, breathe, and sleep Walt Disney World. I hope that after my stint is done, I will either have a new job with Disney or become even a greater fountain of useless Disney knowledge than I already am!

Now here's where this website comes in.

Since I have friends and family around the country who want to know what's going on with me these next few months- and as a service to anyone interested in becoming part of the college program- I humbly submit my webpage. In the spirit of Walt I have chosen to make this page both entertaining and informative. Of course, a lot of things will just build up over time as I get pictures and such, but I hope this will be a nice way of sharing my experience and the Disney magic with all of you!
