Glukkons

Forms: Executives,CEO's,Generals etc...

Lifespan: About 65 years. Usually killed by Lung Cancer from Cigars.

Status: Common

Looks: Glukkons have strange,oversized heads,with bright red eyes,and brown/green skin. They have normal Mouths,with lots of yellow teeth. They also have lots of warts. They have long,thin arms with black toe nails. They use these to walk on. They have bony chests.

Clothing and Equipment: Glukkons wear suits to cover there ugly body. Since they have no arms,they do not need sleeves. They may decorate there clothes with medals or broches as in General Dripik of Slig Barracks. There suits range from black to green. Nearly all Glukkons smoke too. Usually lung buster cigars,or depending on there importantce,cheepy cigarettes. They carry no weapons,because they are protected by Slig security.

Lifestyle: The Glukkons first aim in life,is Moolah. Moolah is the currency on Oddworld. If you're a Glukkon,and you don't own any,you're nothing. All Glukkons are profit crazy types. In fact,you may go as far as saying that there religion,is in fact Moolah. They spend every day in co-operation with the Vyker scientists,trying to figure out new ways of generating it. If this means killing innocent wildlife or rare plants...then all the better for the evil Glukkons. The more moolah a Glukkon has,the more respect he gets. And the more cigars he can afford!

Importantce: Theres nothing more important than Glukkons in Oddworld at this moment,except perhaps,the Glukkon queen. The Glukkons will have anyone who posses any threat to them killed instantly by there Slig securit. But so far,Abe has avoided all assasination atempts by the Glukkons and Sligs.

History: Glukkons used to be great pals with the Mudokons. They sometimes argues over which species was the most important on Oddworld many thousands of years ago. But then the Mudokons pointed out to the Glukkons that they were the chosen race. They explained the Mudokon hand on the moon showed it. The Glukkons couldn't take the fact they were second to the Mudokons. They turned to science and technology for the answer that the Glukkons were the chosen race. To prove the Mudokons wrong. But when no answer was found,the Glukkons became depressed,and started to hate the Mudokons. They started to live inside,in darkness,away from the Sun. There eyes evolved to get used to the indoor dim light. The Glukkons turned to buisness now and started making friends with the Vykers and struck a deal with the Slig queen that all the Sligs would work for the Glukkons. Now they had everything they needed: Sligs,Technology and the will to get revenge on the Mudokons. And so they did. They enslaved the Mudokons to work in there factories. And to this day,the Mudokon race has been under Glukkon control. The Glukkons are now the most important race on Oddworld. But the Mudokons are hoping all this will change very soon.
