This is a Castle in Spain, Guadalest to be precise. This is a detail. you can view the (almost) whole picture by clicking on the link. To me this is kind of pedestrian..despite having taken so long to do, maybe that's why..a lot of care went into every little dent in the (Arches Rough 31 x 41) paper and the textures of rock and stone, so despite the fact that i wouldn't paint anything like this now (well not unless someone wanted something in this stlye!) I'm still quite fond of it. Done after a trip there on a very windy cloudy day.
