"Pikachu Genki Dechu" means
Pikachu's Feeling Fine in English. This is the N64's
first voice recognition type game where you don't use a
controller you just use the pak-in microphone to talk to
Pikachu. Pikachu will respond to different things you
say; if you yell at Pikachu he might shock you or run and
hide. Really this game is just like Tamagotchi, but has a
lot better graphics and sound. Mr. Tsunekaz Ishihara, the
president of Creatures, Inc., is currently researching
plans for an English version of Genki Dechu but since the
software was originally designed for japanese voice
recognition the transfer is very difficult. |
