8. The Path to the Pokémon League

As our heroes continue on their journey, they meet A.J, a fierce pokémon trainer who pushes his pokémon to the point of exhaustion by brute force. , He has won 98 consecutive pokémon battles against other trainers ,but yet to own a badge. He easily beats Ash making 99 wins. Once he reaches 100, he’ll begin to go after badges. As Team Rocket tries to steal Pikachu again, they accidentally steal A.J.’s Sandshrew. A.J. beats them with a ground splitting attack, making his 100th win, and giving team rocket a headache. A.J. then begins his own path to the Pokémon League.

9. The School of Hard Knocks

Trying to find their way to Vermilion City, the gang discovers a special Pokémon school where you can enter the Pokémon League after graduation instead of winning badges. However, they see young Joe being pushed too hard by fellow students. As the students believe they are better trained than Ash and the gang, some pokémon battles erupt, which show that despite certain advantages one type of pokémon has over others, experience and levels are also a key to winning. They leave knowing they have imparted some wisdom on fellow trainers who they hope to meet in league someday.

10. Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village

After stumbling through some traps, our heroes find a secret village where they meet Melanie, a person who helps injured and abandoned pokémon. A distrustful Bulbasaur acts as watch guard over the village and wants Ash to leave. Suddenly, Team Rocket shows up with another high-powered vacuum to suck away pokémon. Ash helps Bulbasaur defeat Team Rocket making Bulbasaur trust him. But it is only after Ash proves himself in a battle that Bulbasaur decides (sorta) to join Ash’s group.

11. Charmander - The Stray Pokémon

Still on their way to Vermilion City, the gang sees a Charmander sitting on a rock. Pikachu relates to Ash that Charmander is waiting for its owner to return. So they leave and find the local Pokémon Center. There, they discover that a trainer named Damien abandoned Charmander because he felt it was weak. They rush back to the Charmander in the rain and save it before the flame on its tail went out. The next day, the Charmander escaped to wait back on the rock for Damien. Before they can convince it otherwise, Team Rocket has successfully trapped Pikachu in a rubber balloon, but Charmander makes them give him back and becomes Ash’s next pokémon.

12. Here Comes the Squirtle Squad

A nearby town is being terrorized by a destructive gang of abandoned Ray-Ban wearing Squirtles. The gang and Team Rocket fall for one of their traps . However, Meowth convinces the Squirtles to capture Pikachu for them. In the process, Pikachu gets hurt. Ash begs to go into town to get a super potion for Pikachu, and with the help of Officer Jenny, makes it back in time to see Team Rocket betray the Squirtles. Ash then helps the Squirtles defeat Team Rocket, and the leader Squirtle is so impressed that he joins Ash but gets rid of his Ray-Bans, as they head off in search of Vermilion City.

13. Mystery at the Lighthouse

After Ash catches a lame Krabby, the gang reaches a lighthouse and hopes to get some food and rest. Inside they meet Bill, the famous Pokémon researcher who lives at the lighthouse and waits to get a glimpse of a very rare, very unusual, and very LARGE pokémon. Using speakers, he plays an eerie pokémon call that succeeds in bringing in this shadowed pokémon. Unfortunately, Team Rocket shows up and tries to capture it, only to drive it away. But Bill will persist and stay at the lighthouse, hoping to get another sighting of the mysteriousܥe# yIv,Hl,HlHH H G(HHHTH8/GTimes New Roman Symbol ArialTimes New Roman1.Pokémon: I Choose You!

Ash Ketchum is a 10 year old boy from pallet town. He vows to become the world's greatest pokémon master, but is off to a late start, after sleeping in on the day he was to receive his first pokémon. With all the beginner pokémon gone, he has to take Pikachu, an electric mouse. As they start off on their journey, Pikachu is quite unhappy with  his owner, but things get worse when they get attacked by a butt load of Spearows. Ash tries to protect Pikachu. Pikachu then realizes how much Ash really cares for him. Finally, Pikachu drives away all the Spearows with a powerful attack, but is left weak.

2. Pokémon Emergency!

With Pikachu weak from its victory over the Spearows, Ash rushes to the Viridian City Pokémon Center where he meets Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy. While Pikachu is recovering, Misty confronts him about her bike that Ash took in the last episode. Nurse Joy informs them that Pikachu will be okay. Just then, Team Rocket shows up to steal any special pokémon at the center. With the help of Ash, Pikachu is able to stop them and our heroes head off into the Viridian Forest.

3. Ash Catches a Pokémon

In Viridian Forest, Ash manages to capture a Caterpie all by himself. Misty, is more than disgusted, much to Caterpie's dismay. However, Team Rocket attempts to capture Pikachu. As they are about to succeed, Caterpie saves the day, after after the battle it evolves into a Metapod.

4. Challenge of the Samurai

As they continue through the Viridian Forest, Ash, Misty and Pikachu meet Samurai, a trainer who challenges Ash. As they duel, a swarm of Beedrils interrupts them and captures Ash's Metapod (thinking its a Kakuna). Ash attempts to rescue Metapod, but it evolves into Butterfree and defeats the Beedril swarm. After all that the gang heads off towards Pewter City.

5. Showdown in Pewter City

Ash, Misty, and Pikachu arrive in Pewter City to challenge Brock the Gym Leader for entrance into the Pokémon League. With help from a mysterious rock seller, Ash and Pikachu are able to defeat Brock (sorta). Brock then  gives Ash the boulder badge and joins up with the group to pursue his dream of becoming  the greatest pokemon breeder.

6.  Clefairy and the Moon Stone

Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu head over to Mount Moon where the fabled Moon Stone is said to reside. As they are about to enter, they rescue Seymour the Scientist from some Zoobats who tell them that someone is placing lights inside the caves of Mt. Moon which are making all the pokémon inside confused. The villains turn out to be none other than Team Rocket who is trying to find the moon stone. With the help of the Clefairys and the Metranome attack, the gang defeats Team Rocket and then heads off toward Cerulean City.

7 .The Water Flowers of Cerulean City

As the gang is about to enter Cerulean City, Misty seems to have disappeared. Ash, however, only concentrates on getting his next badge from the local gym, which appears to have been converted into a water show. The three stars of the show turn out to be the gym leaders, who would rather just give Ash the badge than fight, since all their pokémon were badly beaten by trainers from Pallet. Misty shows up claiming to be the fourth gym leader and will battle Ash, but they are interrupted by Team Rocket who uses a huge vacuum to suck away pokémon. Pikachu stops them and the sisters give Ash a well-deserved Cascade Badge for his heroic dee pokémon. Ash also hopes he will get to see and capture new pokémon.By the way the Pokemon was a LARGE Dragonite.

14. Electric Shock Showdown

The group finally reaches Vermilion City and heads over to the Pokémon Center to rest. There they learn that Lt. Surge is the local gym leader . At the gym, Pikachu is at first frightened, but when Lt. Surge and his Raichu make fun of the "baby pokémon," Pikachu is determined to win.(so determined that he is badly beaten). Back at the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy offers a Thunder Stone to make Pikachu evolve to have a better chance at defeating Raichu, but Pikachu refuses and wants to re-challenge. They do, after learning a few more attacks, and this time Pikachu wins Ash a Thunder Badge.

15. Battle Aboard St. Anne

Our heroes win tickets to a free cruise aboard the St. Anne from a couple of Valley-type girls who turn out to be Jesse and James. In fact, the whole trip is a setup by the Boss of Team Rocket to invite pokémon trainers and steal their pokémon. On board, there is feasting, battling, and trading of pokémon. Ash reluctantly trades his Butterfree for a Raticate, and James gets conned into buying a Magikarp with Jesse and Meowth`s Paychecks. Then, Team Rocket tries to steal the pokémon, but all the trainers team up and defeat them. Suddenly, the ship is about to sink from the stormy seas. Ash and the gang retrieves his Butterfree, but gets trapped on board the sinking upside down St. Anne along with Team Rocket.

16. Pokémon Shipwreck

As our heroes and villains recover, they both realize that they need to get out of the sunken ship before they run out of air. When they run into each other, they form an uneasy alliance so that they can get out of this mess. They use their pokémon and safely (I use that term loosely) make it to the surface of the water. On board a make-shift raft, they are all starving, and they all want to eat Magikarp(Poor Magikarp). But it’s not edible, so James kicks it off the raft where it evolves into Gyarados (Oops) and performs the Dragon Rage attack. Everyone is blown away and separated in a watery tornado.Betcha you would of kept Magikarp if you know that it would turn into a Gyrados

17. The Island of the Giant Pokémon(My Favorite)

Waking up on an island, Ash, Misty, and Brock discover that they have been separated from their pokemon. Elsewhere, Team Rocket finds they have been separated from their pokémon, too. The pokémon meet up and have one of the most sickiningly cute conversations I’ve ever heard and form a truce. As the humans look for their pokémon and vice versa, they both find giant pokémon of various types. Although running away from sheer fright, the humans are able to reunite with their pokémon and discover that the island is a theme park with giant 30 foot robotic pokémon.

18A. Tentacool and Tentacruel

As they wait for a ferry in Porta Vista to get back to the main land, Ash and the gang see an injured Horsea who is tries to tell them something. Later, they find out that an old rich woman named Nastina is having trouble with Tentacool disrupting construction of her hotel. She will give a big reward to whoever exterminates them. Misty is disgusted and refuses, but Team Rocket takes up the challenge. However, they only succeed in making the Tentacools evolve into a giant Tentacruel (Remember Gyrados) that starts demolishing the town in retribution for the construction destroying their ocean homes. Misty convinces the Tentacruel that they will stop harming them, and they leave in peace, with Misty getting a Horsea.

18B. A Holiday at Alcopolco

Ash's mother and Prof. Oak ,happen to come to Alcopolco, a resort when the gang arrives. They then find Ryu, an old man who runs a beach house. They help him with an idea to provide entertainment and attract buissness. Ryu uses their idea and holds a contest for the Queen Sunburn. The Rocket gang intrudes and spectators get into a panic, but Satoshi and his monsters successfully drive them back.Ash`s mother wins the title.

19. Ghost at Maiden’s Peak

The ferry deposits our heroes at Maiden's Rock where there is a Summer’s End Festival. There is a legend of a maiden who died over 2000 years ago as she waited on a cliff for her traveling love to return. Both James and Brock have seen her ghost and fall in love with her, but it turns out that the ghost is Gastly who seems to be playing tricks. They all battle it but Gastly keeps beating them, until the sun comes up and he has to leave. However, he vows to the real ghost of the maiden that he will return to keep her legend alive.

20. Bye Bye Butterfree

The group discovers a place where hundreds of Butterfrees have gathered to mate(its a kids show for gods sake!). Ash sends out his own Butterfree who becomes smitten with a pink Butterfree. However, the pink Butterfree ignores Ash’s Butterfree. Ash tries to cheer him up, but Team Rocket crashes the party and steals all the Butterfrees except Ash’s. Ash and his Butterfree are able to free the others, and the pink Butterfree finally falls in love with Ash’s. And so, Ash bids a farewell to his Butterfree.

21. Abra and the Psychic Showdown

As our heroes enter Saffron City, two Hawaiian-dressed girls convince them to enter a warp tile. They turn out to be Team Rocket who steals Pikachu. However, a mysterious little girl they saw briefly before appears, rescues them all, and disappears without a word. Despite some warnings from a bearded man, Ash goes to the local gym and tries to defeat Sabrina, a psychic pokémon trainer. The little girl is there too and seems to be under Sabrina’s control. Ash is defeated, and Sabrina forces them to play with her by shrinking them to the size of dolls. The man they met before, however, saves them and tells them that the only way Ash could beat Sabrina is with a ghost pokémon. And so, Ash heads off to Lavender town to get one.

22. Tower of Terror

Arriving at the pokémon tower where ghost pokémon are said to reside, our heroes are more than frightened. But Ash musters enough courage to venture in, only to be the object of pranks by the ghosts who live there. One prank causes a chandelier to crash on Ash and Pikachu, and the ghost pokémon bring out their spirits. They have a fun time flying around, and after returning Ash to his body, Haunter decides to join the group. With a ghost pokémon, Ash heads back to Saffron City to face Sabrina.

23. Haunter versus Kadabra

Entering the gym again, Ash wants to challenge Sabrina with his ghost pokémon. She accepts, but when the fight is about to begin, Haunter is no where to be seen. Ash is forced to forfeit and this time, Sabrina turns our heroes into actual dolls, but Ash is rescued by that mysterious man who is Sabrina’s father. Ash finds Haunter tormenting Team Rocket and tries to go fight Sabrina again. Haunter doesn’t fight but instead, makes Sabrina laugh with its ghost antics. Without her concentration, Sabrina is forced to forfeit. Ash gets a Marsh Badge, and Sabrina is reunited with her parents and stays with Haunter.

24. Primeape Goes Bananas

Ash calls Professor Oak and shows him that he has four badges. However, Oak relates how the other trainers have five badges and plenty more pokémon than Ash. This makes Ash more determined than ever to catch more pokémon, which he attempts to do with a Mankey. But the Mankey is bad-tempered and steals Ash’s hat after beating him up. A quick skirmish with Team Rocket causes the Mankey to evolve into Primeape who chases our heroes. However, Ash finally captures him and heads off to Celadon City where another badge awaits.

25. Pokémon Scent-sation!

Although his friends find a perfume shop wonderful, Ash finds it disgusting and loses the approval of not only the store manager but also the trainers at the local gym. Unable to get inside, Ash forms an alliance with Team Rocket and dresses up as a girl in order to challenge the gym leader Erika, who turns out to be the perfume store manager. Before they can finish their fight, Team Rocket interrupts as they steal some perfume and set the place on fire. Ash helps save the gym and Erika’s Gloom, for which she awards him with a Rainbow Badge.

26. Hypno’s Naptime

Ash and the gang find a town with lots of children missing and all the pokémon having no energy. As Pikachu gets affected and falls asleep, they go to investigate and find sleep waves emanating from the Pokémon Lover’s Club. Inside, there is a Hypno, which is used on club members with insomnia to put them to sleep. This creates the sleep waves that are affecting the children and the pokémon. However, they find that Drowzee’s dream eating waves can counteract the sleep waves, and thus, Drowzee fixes everything back to normal. In the end, Misty (much to her dismay) gets a Psyduck.

27. Pokémon Fashion Flash

Our heroes continue on through a street with tons of Pokémon Salons. Brock is searching for a certain salon, while Misty gets entranced by Salon Rokét, which gives flashy (but tacky) makeovers for pokémon. Brock finally finds Susie: the world’s number one pokémon breeder, who specializes in massage in order to bring out a pokémon’s inner beauty instead of flashy fashion. Misty, however, takes her Psyduck to Salon Rokét and finds out that it is none other than Team Rocket. With Susie’s help, the group defeats Team Rocket, and Brock in the end gets a Vulpix.

28. The Punchy Pokémon

Along the road, Ash and his friends see a Hitmonchan in training. It belongs to Anthony - a trainer who is the number one contender for the P-1 Grand Prix: a competition for fighting pokémon. However, his daughter Rebecca complains that Anthony is ignoring the family, and she asks the gang to beat her father. Ash uses his Primeape and, despite Team Rocket attempts at cheating, wins the competition. Ash then lets Anthony have Primeape to train it better, as long as Anthony will not ignore his family again.

29. Sparks Fly for Magnemite

Upon entering the polluted Gringy City, Pikachu seems to be very sick and can’t control its electricity. Ash rushes it to the pokémon center, but Nurse Joy says it’s only a cold. Suddenly, the power goes out and the pokémon in intensive care will die soon if they can’t restore power. The gang goes to investigate, discovering that Grimers have taken over the power plant. However, with the help of some Magnemites, Pikachu is able to defeat all the Grimers and Ash catches their leader Muk (and Team Rocket is foiled, once again).

30.  Dig Those Diglett!

As our heroes search for a way to Fuchsia City, an earthquake causes them (and Team Rocket) to investigate the Guyva Dam site. There, construction is being disrupted by Digletts, and the fore-man has offered a reward to any pokémon trainer who can get rid of them. Gary shows up along with other trainers, but no pokémon (not even Ash’s) will come out to fight. They find out that the Digletts are preventing construction of the dam to preserve the forest which is their garden. The fore-man stops construction, and the Digletts help tear down the dam (taking Team Rocket with it).

31. The Ninja Poké-Showdown

Unsure of the way to Fuchsia City, the gang stumbles upon what looks to be an old Japanese castle. Inside, weird things are about with a wandering Venonat, invisible walls, and explosive Voltorbs. They find themselves in a Ninja training ground which is also the Fuchsia City gym, home of Koga: the poison pokémon gym leader. As they begin to battle, however, Team Rocket interrupts (yet again), but Misty’s Psyduck drives them off. Ash resumes his battle with Koga and is able to earn a Soul Badge.

32. The Flame Pokémon-athon!

Thinking they have arrived in the Safari Zone, Ash discovers that instead the group is at the Big P Pokémon Ranch, owned by the Laramie Clan, where pokémon are specially bred so that they are stronger than wild pokémon. They meet Laura Laramie and find out that an annual Pokémon race is being held. She with her Ponyta are the number one contenders, but a jerk named Dario (a Dodrio trainer) wants to win the race. He hires Team Rocket to sabotage Ponyta such that Laura’s arm gets broken. Ash rides in her place and despite all adversities, is able to win.

33A. The Kangaskhan Kid

Although they have finally made it to the Safari Zone, Ash’s anxious pokémon-catching attempts are quickly put to rest by Officer Jenny. It turns out that they are in a pokémon reserve where it is illegal to capture pokémon. Protecting and living with a herd of Kangaskhans is a little boy named Tomo. It turns out, though, that Tomo is actually Tommy who was lost five years ago. His parents come back to try and retrieve him, but he does not want to leave the Kangaskhans. Team Rocket shows up and Tomo is able to fend them off. In the end, his parents decide to stay with him to protect the Kangaskhans.

33B. The Ledgend of Dratini

34. The Bridge Bike Gang

Finally making it out of the Safari Zone and returning to civilization, our heroes stumble on to the construction of a bridge. It would get them to Sunny Town a lot quicker, but in order to cross it, they have to use bikes. At the pokémon center, Nurse Joy asks if they can deliver some medicine to a sick pokémon in Sunny Town and offers some bikes for their passage. The group is more than over-joyed and take off, but they are confronted by a Bicycle Gang who wants to battle. It turns out that Jesse and James used to belong to this gang, and they convince them to capture Pikachu. However, with some battles and heroic efforts, Ash is able to convince the gang to let him get through with the medicine and new friendships are formed.

35A. Ditto’s Mysterious Mansion

Ash and company have to take refuge in a mansion after being caught in the rain. They discover that the mansion is really the House of Imite belonging to Duplica (Copycat in the game). She with her Ditto tried to perform on stage with imitations of pokémon, but Ditto isn’t able to transform its face. Then, Team Rocket busts in stealing Ditto to make it transform into a Dratini to present to the Boss. Ditto’s faulty transformation, however, only angers Team Rocket who threaten Ditto which causes it to transform perfectly. Our heroes eventually rescue a fully transforming Ditto, blasting Team Rocket off again.

35B. Brain Warrior Porygon(infamous seziure episode)

Pokemon centers have a system to transmit Pokeballs to other centers, and it seems to be out of order. Dr. (Akihabara), who developed the system, sends Ashs and his friends into the circuit. They find the Rocket gang in there,capturing monster balls. Joy is afraid that the system went wrong, and orders a security company to install a vaccine program. The program, in the form of a missile, insistantly attacks Ash and his friends and the Rocket gang. Pikachu counters with electric beams(which caused the seziures).Porygon, a polygon monster, then saves them.

36. Pikachu’s Goodbye

As the group continues through the forest, they happen to find a wild group of Pikachus. Ash’s Pikachu is quite happy and tries to make friends, but all of them run away scared. Only a baby Pikachu seems to trust it, but still, Ash’s Pikachu is quite crestfallen over his alienation from the others. Later, the baby Pikachu falls into a river, and Ash’s Pikachu dives in to save it, with help from the rest of the pack. The pack begins to trust Pikachu, and when it saves them all from Team Rocket, they celebrate it as their hero. But Ash feels that Pikachu should stay with them and begins to leave. He sadly runs away because he truly loves Pikachu, and that is why he wants it to be happy with its own kind. Pikachu, however, returns and shows that no matter what, its place is at Ash’s side (or on his shoulder).

37. The Battling Eevee Brothers

Still roaming the forest, our heroes discover an Eevee tied to a tree. They see that it has a license tag on it and go into Stone Town to return it to the owner. At the address, they find a garden party where lots of pokémon are being evolved by stones. They return Eevee to Mikey who doesn’t want to evolve his Eevee, but his three brothers want him to (they each have the three evolved forms of Eevee). Team Rocket comes in to steal all the pokémon, evolution stones, AND the food. But Mikey’s Eevee is able to blast them off (again), and the brothers let Mikey have his Eevee just the way it is.

38. Wake up Snorlax!

Ash and company pass an old hippie in the forest who plays music to them with his flute in hopes of getting food. Unfortunately, they have none and they decide to go into town to get some. However, the town has no food because the river has run dry. They go to investigate and find a huge Snorlax blocking a spring which forms the river. Team Rocket shows up wanting to capture the Snorlax, but they need to wake it up, too. So they team up and discover out that the flute the old hippie can wake it up. With that, Snorlax wakes up and the river runs free again (but Team Rocket loses again).

39. Showdown at Dark City

Arriving in the seemingly ghost town of Dark City, our heroes find that pokémon trainers aren’t welcomed here. That is because two would-be gyms (the Yas and Kaz Gyms) are having street brawls in order to claim this town as their own in an attempt at becoming an official Pokémon League Gym. However, in the process they are destroying town. Ash and the gang is able to stop them and with the help of Nurse Joy (the official Pokémon League Inspector), convinces the two gyms to rebuild the town.

40. The March of the Exeggutor Squad

Ash and Brock see a carnival where they decide to get down and party. However, Misty wanders off to find Melvin: the-not-so-great magician. She agrees to help him achieve his dream of having a world famous magic act with his pokémon Exeggcute. However, as they try to perform, Melvin fumbles and gets fired (literally and figuratively). Ash tries to boost his confidence but instead gets hypnotized by Exeggcute. Melvin then uses Ash to capture lots of Exeggutor, who (thanks to Team Rocket) accidentally hypnotize themselves and charge through the carnival. In order to save everyone, Ash’s Charmander and Melvin team up to stop the Exeggutors, after which Charmander evolves into Charmeleon.

41. The Problem with Paras

Finding Moss Green Village, the gang stops in order to buy some potions and antidotes. Meanwhile, Team Rocket spies on them, but Meowth isn’t feeling too good. Jesse and James want to go on without it, but then Cassandra stops them and gives Meowth some herbs to make him feel better. Seeing such care, Meowth falls in love with her (in a pokémon sort of way). Back in town, our heroes also meet Cassandra and find out that her Paras won’t fight so it can’t evolve. She wants it to evolve into a Parasect so that she can use its spore to create a Miracle Potion. After some silly "battles," Paras runs away only to be given more experience by Team Rocket. With the boosted confidence, Paras evolves into Parasect. And as they all bid farewell, a saddened Meowth can only wish he can stay with Cassandra.

22. The Song of Jigglypuff

Passing through Neon Town, where no one ever sleeps and everyone is mean, our heroes find a Jigglypuff in the forest who cannot sing. They help it by finding a special fruit which clears throats. Jigglypuff is then able to sing, which puts everyone (including Team Rocket) to sleep. This angers Jigglypuff, because everyone seems to ignore its performance. So the gang decides to take Jigglypuff over to Neon Town. However, its powerful song puts everyone there to sleep, too. In retribution, Jigglypuff writes on all their faces with a marker and leaves. But now, all the people of Neon Town are nicer from their rest. And so our heroes venture onward, with Jigglypuff following them unseen.

43. Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon

Upon entering Grandpa Canyon, our heroes find several other trainers digging for fossils of pokémon. Team Rocket is there and blows up some dynamite to get the rare finds, but the explosion sends Ash, Pikachu, and Team Rocket into a secret cavern. There, many "extinct" pokémon still live including a ferocious Aerodactyl, which grabs Ash to try and eat him but is given chase by Charizard (evolved from Charmeleon). Suddenly, Jigglypuff shows up and puts everyone to sleep with its song. And so, Ash is saved, Jigglypuff leaves angrily, and the ancient pokémon are left in peace. In the end, the gang leaves with an egg Ash found in the canyon.

44. A Chansey Operation

A mysterious ailment causes the gang to rush sick Pikachu to the hospital, since the pokémon center is too far away. Doctor Proctor cures Pikachu by removing an entire apple from its throat. Suddenly, a phone call from Nurse Joy informs them of an accident that injured many pokémon. The pokémon center is overflowed, so some of the pokémon are being directed to the hospital, including Team Rocket’s. Our heroes and villains help heal patients until Team Rocket tries to steal some of the hurt pokémon. But with the help of Chansey and the doctor, the gang thwarts them once again.

45.  Holy Matrimony!

When a missing child poster turns out to be a young James from Team Rocket, our heroes discover James’ "dark" past to be filled with secrets, intrigue, and love. Actually, it turns out that James ran away from his rich heritage, because his parents wanted him to marry Jezebel who wanted to change James "for the better." Through several lies, James gets caught again and is about to be forced to marry Jezebel. However, his faithful Growlithe from childhood saves him, and so all is well again.

46. So Near, Yet So Farfetch’d

In the forest, a young boy and his Farfetch’d have settled themselves into a life of crime by conning people and stealing their pokémon. They get Misty’s and Team Rocket’s pokémon, except Psyduck who leads our heroes to the culprit. After a match between Farfetch’d and Psyduck (which Psyduck wins), the kid promises to return all the pokémon he stole. And, of course, Team Rocket blasts off in the end.

47. Who gets to keep Togepi?

After an upgrade for Dexter, Ash’s pokédex, our heroes and villains try to figure out what pokémon will hatch from the egg Ash found at Grandpa Canyon. Team Rocket steals the egg, and Meowth plays mother hen, literally. However, the gang finally finds Team Rocket just in time to see the egg hatch into Togepi. An actual civilized pokémon tournament (instead of a brawl) is held to see who gets to keep Togepi. Ash wins out in the end, but Togepi wants to stay with Misty since she was the first thing it saw.

48. Bulbasaur’s Mysterious Garden

Now is a special time where all the Bulbasaurs gather in the Mysterious Garden that very few humans have seen. The Bulbasaurs use special pollen from a Venusaur that evolves them into Ivysaurs, but Ash’s Bulbasaur doesn’t want to evolve. As the group of pokémon tries to force Bulbasaur’s evolution, Team Rocket drops in to steal them all. However, Ash’s Bulbasaur is able to fight them off and save its kind. So, Bulbasaur is left in peace to decide for itself when it wants to evolve.

48B. Battle of the girls festival

Martch 3 is the day of Girls' Festival in Japan, Ohina town has a big festival. The main event is a Pokemon tournament , whose winner is awarded a set of dolls displayed . Misty has three older sisters, each owning her own set. she is dying to have it. Pikachu volunteers to help her by fighting for her in the tournament. And Jesse also wants the dolls, since she was not afford to have them in her childhood. They fight hard, and Misty wins them.

48C.  Childrens day

May 5 is the day of Children's day in Japan. Although a kindergarden is to have a Pokemon trainer to visit them, he cannot come. Ash and his friends decide to help them for him. A boy likes Meowth, since he was saved by him a while ago. The Rocket gang plans to make use the story and capture Pikachu--though in vain as usual.

49.  The Case of the K-9 Caper!

When Ash stumbles onto a police training camp for a special K-9 squad of Growlithes under Officer Jenny, he thinks Pikachu could benefit from similar training and gets them enrolled. However, Team Rocket breaks in to steal the well-trained Growlithes. They release gas that makes everyone’s voices sound different and then use special megaphones to sound like Officer Jenny, so that they can order the Growlithes. But in the end, the pokémon realize who the real culprits are and chase Team Rocket away.

50. Pokémon Paparazzi

A meal of rice balls (they didn’t call it donuts!) partaken by our heroes is interrupted by Todd the photographer attempting to take a picture of Pikachu. He is a world-famous pokémon photo-master and wants a picture of Pikachu but for what reason he cannot say. Apparently, Team Rocket hired him thinking he will capture Pikachu, but Todd only captures pokémon on film. After this misunderstanding, Todd helps save Ash and Pikachu from Team Rocket, and the gang just grew bigger by one person.

51. The Ultimate Test

When Ash and Misty argue once again over how Ash got his badges Todd suggests that Ash should look into the Pokémon League Admissions Center. There, if you pass all their tests, you get a single badge that will allow you to battle in the Pokémon League,instead of traveling and battling gym leaders. Ash and Team Rocket enroll, but all three have a hard time getting through the tests. In frustration, Team Rocket tries to steal all the pokémon, but Ash and the Instructor stop them. Ash decides in the end that he would rather get badges his own way.

52. The Breeding Center Secret

An ad for a Pokémon Breeding Center prompts Misty to drop off Psyduck there. However, our heroes learn that this Center is run by Butch and Cassidy (new members of Team Rocket) who plan to steal the pokémon left there. During the rescue attempt, the real Team Rocket shows up, causing mayhem, confusion, and comedic antics. But in the end, our heroes (and Jesse and James) prevail, and Todd decides to leave the group to take more pictures of wild pokémon.

53. Princess vs Princess

Its Princess day and all the girls and women traditonally go shopping (beacuse of the sales) and use the guys money. While in a park after going shopping Jessie and James catch a Likitung (using Arbok`s Pokeball, Where does Arbok go?). Later Ash, Brock, and Misty are shopping, when Both Misty and Jessie end up grabbing a dress they both wanted, and start playing tug of war with it, To settle who gets the dress they decide to have a pokemon battle, but are interuped by a announcement of a beauty contest, both Jessie and Misty decide to settle there diffrences on the stage, but also secretly want the dolls. While on stage they find out it isnt really a beaty contest but a pokemon tounement. Each contestant needs 4 pokemon; Misty uses Ashs and Brocks Pokemon; She had Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Vulpix and Starmie. Jessie uses Arbok, Likitung, Weezing and in a very funny scene Meowth (who really cant battle very well). Misty and Jessie both make it to the finals and Misty uses Pikachu to thump Arboke, Meowth, and Weezing. When Jessie sends out Likitung, He slurps past Pikachu, Bulbasaur and Vulpix. When Misty sends out Starmie but Psyduck comes out. Likitung tries to lick Psyduck but it doesnt affect him. Then Psyduck gets binded with the tounge of Likitung, Giving Psyduck a Headache. Psyduck then uses Confusion and Likitung headbutts himself and flies into Team Rocket making the Blast off again.

54. The Purr-fect Pokemon

Ash is on the way to get his 7th badge , The volcano badge when they find out its kids day. As they walk by a pre-school they learn that some pokemon trainers were supposed to show up and entertain the childeren, but the Trainers couldnt show. Ash and his friends decide to take there place. As the chileren are playing with all their pokemon, They see a boy all by himself, his name is Timmy, Timmy is sad beacuse they dont have a Meowth, his favorite Pokemon (beacuse it saved his life). Suddenly TR shows up a Magicians. TR does a magic trick and swiches Pikachu with Meowth, but when TR tries to leave with Pikachu, In all the confusion Timmy ends up being taken away with TR. Later Meowth acts like the pokemon that saved timmy`s life to keep him calm. Meowth "rescues" Timmy and they returned to the Pre-school. Meowth then runs away and Timmy, Ash and his friends follow him. Ash finds Team Rocket and they battle, In the middle of the battle a boulder is knocked loose and heads for Timmy, Before it can hit him the real Meowth shows up and saves Timmer. The boulder then hits TR and they roll away. All is now well and Timmy has a new Pet Meowth.

55. Riddle Me This

Ash is sailing to Cinnibar island to get his 7th badge, the volcano badge. On the boat Gary tells Ash that there is no gym beacuse Cinnibar is a tourist attraction. When the arrive on the island they meet a person who keeps on giving them riddles, They learn that the gym has been closed down beacuse of the tourists, The riddler gives them a card for his inn and then leaves. Ash is hungry and tired, so they look for a place to sleep. As a last resort they goto the riddlers inn, while there Team Rocket the Pokemon Lab. After Ash defeates TR Quickly (under 45 seconds!), The riddler tells Ash that there really is a Volcano gym and tells him where to find it, In the Volcano (duh). When they arrive they found out the riddler is Blaine the Gym Leader. Ash challenges him and they start a 3 on 3 battle. Blaine sends out Ninetails and Ash sends Squirtle. Squirtle is fryied by Ninetails. Ash then sends out Charizard, While Blaine throws out Rhyhorn, Charizard flies away and falls asleep. Ash sends his last Pokemon Pikachu to finish off Rhydon..and does. Blaine sends out Magmar who beats pikachu into the corner of the battle platfrom and putting Pikachu in danger of falling in the Lava. Magmar sends out a big attack....Will Pikachu fall in?...Read Below

56. Volcanic Panic

In the last episode Pikachu was in danger of falling into the lava. When the attack hits him he is knocked off but grabs the platform and climbs back up. Ash stops the match to save Pikachu. Later TR shows up to try to capture Magmar with a freeze rocket. But they go a bit over board and freeze the entire inside of the volcano and causes a eruption. Magmar and Charizard both throw rocks into the opening to stop it. Later Geodude, Onix, and Pikachu join in. To thank Ash for saving the islad Blane offers Ash other chance for the Volcano badge. They decide on a 1 on 1 match. Blane sends Magmar while Charizard sends out himself to battle, A heated battle starts (ok bad pun). Charizard ends up beating Blaine with a really big siesmic toss, and Ash wins the volcano badge

41. The Problem with Paras

Finding Moss Green Village, the gang stops in order to buy some potions and antidotes. Meanwhile, Team Rocket spies on them, but Meowth isn’t feeling too good. Jesse and James want to go on without it, but then Cassandra stops them and gives Meowth some herbs to make him feel better. Seeing such care, Meowth falls in love with her (in a pokémon sort of way). Back in town, our heroes also meet Cassandra and find out that her Paras won’t fight so it can’t evolve. She wants it to evolve into a Parasect so that she can use its spore to create a Miracle Potion. After some silly "battles," Paras runs away only to be given more experience by Team Rocket. With the boosted confidence, Paras evolves into Parasect. And as they all bid farewell, a saddened Meowth can only wish he can stay with Cassandra.

42. The Song of Jigglypuff

Passing through Neon Town, where no one ever sleeps and everyone is mean, our heroes find a Jigglypuff in the forest who cannot sing. They help it by finding a special fruit which clears throats. Jigglypuff is then able to sing, which puts everyone (including Team Rocket) to sleep. This angers Jigglypuff, because everyone seems to ignore its performance. So the gang decides to take Jigglypuff over to Neon Town. However, its powerful song puts everyone there to sleep, too. In retribution, Jigglypuff writes on all their faces with a marker and leaves. But now, all the people of Neon Town are nicer from their rest. And so our heroes venture onward, with Jigglypuff following them unseen.

43. Attack of the Prehistoric Pokémon

Upon entering Grandpa Canyon, our heroes find several other trainers digging for fossils of pokémon. Team Rocket is there and blows up some dynamite to get the rare finds, but the explosion sends Ash, Pikachu, and Team Rocket into a secret cavern. There, many "extinct" pokémon still live including a ferocious Aerodactyl, which grabs Ash to try and eat him but is given chase by Charizard (evolved from Charmeleon). 61. Battling in Water

They gang heads to Cerulean city, where Misty's lives , her Horsea was exhausted from the journey. They decide to go to her gym, in hope of letting him rest in a pool , they that there will ballet swimming show.Brock is really happy , expecting to see cute ballerinas. However, Misty's three elder sisters tells that her that she be in the show. Suprised, Misty is reluctant to obey her sisters.Later, in the show, she plays a role of a mermaid. Team Rocket intrudes during it as usual, trying to capture the Pokemon; the couple and Meowth disguise themselves, Jessie as a male dancer, James and Meowth as the ballerina. ...James is getting very strange. Anyway, the villains dive into the pool, aiming at various Pokemon there. Misty, Pikachu, Ash and Brock go to help. They fight hard, the audience thinks its part of the show and enjoy seeing the battle. In the battle Seel evolves into Dewgong. Pikachu and Dewgon defeat Team Rocket.

62. Clefairies Vs. Jigglypuff

The story of the Clefairies...
One night Jigglypuff walks on a road, singing. Suddenly debris falls from the sky, and hits her on the head. Puzzled, she sees a space ship crashed a far away. She trots toward the spot, and sees dozens of Clefairies get out of the ship...

Later Ash and his friends find a Clefairy in a town. Misty wants to capture him, and runs after him with her friends as he hops away. After they fail to catch him they come back and find that there stuff is gone . After a while they learn that many people in the town have some things stolen by unknown thieves. Then a Clefairy suddenly kidnaps Pikachu! Then , Jigglypuff appears; but she cannot find mike she usually takes with herself. (Funny!) With her help, they follow the path of the Clefairy who took  Pikachu, the arrive at cave. A huge space ship is there ;they find out that Clefairies are using Pikachu's electric power to ignite the rocket. They break into the spaceship, having seen Pikachu taken inside by a Clefairy. Jigglypuff fights a Clefairy, while Ash tries to save Pikachu locked in a glass tube. Jigglypuff slaps and slaps Clefairies (Cute and Funny!), goes to the cockpit, and finally finds what she was looking for--her mike! Clefairies stole different things from the town to repair their ship. Ash also successfully gets his Pikachu back. After a escaping the ship, they wonder where the Clefairies are going. Misty believes that they will arrive at some planet in safety. But...The ship smolders, and crashes again in a town. Clefairies intrude houses there and start stealing again

63. We Got the Last Badge!

They arrive at Virdian city, Ash in hope of getting the last badge which is needed to join the Pokemon league. Ash promises Pikachu that he would win the badge. right then Gary comes, along with a alot of girl friends, and enters the gym. Ash wants to follow , but is stopped by a couple of gatekeepers, one of them telling him that only one trainer is allowed to enter at a time. Ash is mad, thinking he has been stalled by Gary. Misty's response is mean. She says, "It happends all the time". Togepi approaches him, and pats him on the shoulder and is surprised and throws him upward. A bird takes him in his beak, and flies away! Astonished, the gang and Pikachu follow him, but lose sight. While misty blames Ash for losing Togepi, he is carried to a building and dropped on the roof where Team Rocket is. Suprized to find him, they capture him, and rush to give him to their boss at Virdian gym--Their boss is the local gym leader. The boss has to leave quickly. He gives control of the gym and some Pokemon to Team Rocket. Ash finally finds Togepi, who has followed the boss. Gary and girls are there, all KO`ed. Ash raises Togepy in his arms, while Brock does the same to a girl. Gary recovers quickly, and says that he saw a strong Pokemon, that he had not ever seen, and was beaten by him. At that time Jessie and James appears as the gym leaders, and kids realises that the gym is owned by the team. Ash challenges them, each sending three Pokemon. Although Ash and his Pokemon have, Pikachu's electric attack beats the team and gets the last badge. The gang then starts twoard Pallet Town

64. Mr. Mime and Pokemon Circus

Ash and Pikachu are home finally, with their friends! On the way home, Ash is playing and crashes against a leaf wall that Mr. Mime made, and Ash wants to capture him. But then, Atsuko, a cute leader of a Pokemon circus, appears and tells him that she needs one. Both fail at catching him. Ash and his party follow Atsuko to her circus', finding her Mr. Mime in a car. Brock has an idea, that they make Ash disguise himself as another Mr. Mine, instead of capturing the real one. Ash reluctantly obeys. When the show starts, Team Rocket intrudes and takes Ash away by mistake. Ash`s mother who was in the circus tent, tells his friends who worry about him that he will be OK because Team Rocket doesn't want to keep him. They agree and leave, she finds a Mr. Mime entering the house, and thinks it is Ash. Team Rocket strikes back the circus, in hope of capturing  more Pokemon there. Atsuko takes her Mr. Mime, and protects him . The puppet Pokemon is happy with his new friend , and fights the team. After the battle, he makes up his mind to go with Atsuko.

(Special)Jynx and X'mas (this takes place out of the normal story line)

On a beach, Ash finds Jynx who holds a boot in her hands, and he tries to capture her. Pikachu is sent,. However, an attack is chasing after Pikachu, It is the evil kiss. It makes him fall asleep After giving up, Ash and his friends see the boot Jynx has and listen sto her story. She tells them through her telepathy that it is Santa Claus`s Boot, that she was on Santa Claus island, working for him, and that a tip of huge iceberg where she was had been cut and drifted to the beach. They hope to help her go back to her island, make a raft and go down the sea by the help of a Lapras. When they come close to their destination, Team Rocket shows up and robs the boot. Team Rocket and Meowth go ahead to Santa Claus' house and robs the all gifts.Ash arrives and Team Rocket captues him and his friends. After the villains leave, Ash sends Charmander and he burns the rope which held them. Santa Claus commands Jynxes to emit a psy-beam. Their beams successfully take the gifts back. Some of them are for Ash and his friends. Pikachu smiles happily, nestling his cheek against his gift.

(Special) Bivouac! (these take place out of the normal story line)

The party is lost in a snow-covered mountain.They decide to make a camp. Ash stumbles down them, and Pikachu, who was in Ash's arms, are thrown into the violent wind and carried away in a moment. Ash follows after him, struggling against the blizzard. He successfully find his Pikachu.....hanging on a cliff. Ash reaches out his hand, finding Pikachu's, but it slips, and he falls. Ash cries his name out. Pikachu slides down the cliff a bit more, and grabs a point on it. Ash gives a sigh of relief, send Balbasaur and askes him to help Pikachu. Balbasaur's vine successfully get him, and lift him up to the place Ash is waiting for him to come. They realise that they cannot go back. Charmander emits fire and melts snow, making a cave, and Ash, Pikachu and the rest of pokemon Ash owns cover the mouth with snow after they enter it. Ash decides to take them into Pokeballs, because they may be safe in them. Although Pokemon are afraid that they will leave Ash alone, he takes them into the balls, except Pikachu. Then he tells Pikachu to enter the ball, too. Pikachu shakes his head, hoping he will warm him with his body heat (how sweet). After a few hours, the other Pokemon come out of the balls, and hold their trainer. The blizzard calms down in the following morning.Ash and his Pokemon go on their journey together...

65. Dueling with the Rival

Mr. Mime wakes Ash up by vacuuming his face. Since Misty teases him, saying Mr. Mime cleaned his face so that he didn't have to wash it. A mad Ash tells Mr. Mime to clean her face, too...(funny) Later, he goes to the lab of Professor Oak with his friends. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is back at the base, and see a building explode and a Pokemon, unknown to them, fly away. They wonder what kind of Pokemon he is...

Ash and his party find Gary at the Professor's lab. Gary says that "Ash has not grown Pokemon, and he captures up with care". That remark of Gary PO`s Ash, and they agree to duel with each other. Team Rocket intrude to capture Ash's Pikachu, and they must deal with them first. However, a herd of Tauros goes by near them, kicking the villains away. After that, Gary says he changed his mind and lost interest in dueling with Ash. Ash declares that they would meet at the Pokemon league tournament.

66. Slowpoke Evolving into Slowbro

Ash visits Professor Oak, Ash talks with him and learns about about the evolutions of Pokemon.Ash wants to know more.  Oak tells Ash about Professor Nishinomori and says that he may answer his question, Ash goes and sees the professor. However, he has the proble,. Slowpokes are regarded as stupid. Nishinomori owns one, and it behavor confuses Ash and his friends. Only Misty's Psyduck can understand him. Even Pikachu is confused to have listened to them speaking, though. Team Rocket intrudes then. They send Shellder, that they captured planning to make Slowpoke evolve into Slowbro and present him to the boss. As the odd friendship between Slowmo and Psyduck works, Psyduck tries hard to protect Slowpoke. But Shellder bites at the tail of Slowmo, and Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro. Nishinomori is enlightend, as he can see the process of the evolution. Slowbro gives Megaton punch to beat Team Rocket.

67. Legend of Surfing Pikachu

Big Tuesday is a big wave which is said to come every 20 years, and a thousand surfers challenged to control it and to put their flags into the top of a mountain which the wave will passover. So did Vincent 20 years before, and failed. However, he waits another chance now, with his Pikachu  named Michael, and he is slightly different from others of his species. He can foresee the big wave , and surf it. He is now old, and a size larger than Ash's Pikachu. He and Pikachu become friends. Team Rocket intrudes the peace as usual, and capture the two Pikachu. With the help of Vincent, Ash takes his friend back, as Michael senses Big Tuesday coming. Vincent set out with his surf board in the sea, and Michael is also on the board with him. They succeed, and become heroes.

68. Gloom in Garden

Ash and his friends start for a mountain near the house, escaping his mother's asking them to help her in the garden. They then see botanical gardens, with different plants, some of them dangerous, in it. Ash's Balbasaur smells one, and gets paralized. A cute girl, Rindou, appears then, and asks her Gloom to take care of Bulbasaur. Her Gloom has an outstanding ability, that can cure creatures that get paralized. Bulbasaur gets well soon, and is quickly friends with Gloom.Rindou tries to evolver her Gloom with a leaf stone but it doent work. However, the stone is an imitation, made by Team Rocket. The gang intruded the gardens, in hope of stealing the rare plants there. Ash and his friends find them  but are paralizerd. Only Rindou's Gloom is safe,to battle with the villains. Gloom beats them, and Rindou is happy

69. Pokemon The Movie (not the real movie)

Ash and his friends are at acampsite near a lake to train for the Pokemon League. They see Katsuko, a female trainer, and she sends a Raichu, letting him battle with Ash's Pikachu. When the two Pokemon are ready to battle each other, a net is thrown on them . It is Team Rocket; To successfully capture Pikachu  they have made a surprise attack without making their speech. But Raichu is in the net, not Pikachu. Katsuko gets PO`ed , and commands him to shock the villains. When Raichu almost defeats them, a film director Heat Minamino appeares, impressed by the battle. The director and his crew are working on a romance movie of  Pokemon, and seeking for the Pokemon who can play the role of the partner of  Wigglytuff. When an audition is held, Pikachu, Raichu, Vulpix , Meowth, Arbok and Weezing decide to take it. Misty sends Starmie, but Psyduck comes out of thePokeball. As the audition goes on, the gang's Pokemon fail. Mad, they plan to mess it up. Psyduck is selected as the hero!!!!!!!!, the shooting goes smoothly. When they come to shoot the scene of a skirmish, Team Rocket returns in revenge. All the Pokemon have been captured, except Psyduck. he is so confused, and uses confusion to drive the gang away.

70. Why Meowth Can Speak (very intresting)

Unlike all the other Pokemon (except MewTwo), Meowth of Team Rocket can speak. His life started  by being abandoned by his parents. He walked around until he a gang of Meowth`s headed by Persian in Hollywood. He did crimes to survive, and one day, saw a charming female Meowth, raised by a rich woman. Her name is Madonna. He fell in love with her imediatly, and spoke to her, finding Madonna mean. She sniffed and said that she didn't like poor Meowth. Inspired by her remark, he trained himself to stand up on his hind legs and to speak in a human language. Madonna responded only with a sniff, commenting that speaking Meowth was ugly. Meowth was disappointed, and left her...
Along with a Team Rocket, Meowth is back and reminded of his past when he roams the town, and sees his gang old friends. To his big surprise, Madonna is with them; she was dumped by her trainer. Meowth desires to be with her, and Jessie and James understand him. However, Madonna likes to stay with Persian, telling Meowth that she doesn't like him because he speaks. Poor Meowth.(But I still love ya! Thaaats Right! =D )

71. The Secrets of Pokemon Training

Hoping to see one of Elite Four. Ash and his friends travel Mt. Miyazaki, After roaming the mountain , they find a huge Onix. Which then chases them for a while, a man shows up and rescues them. He is Shiba one of the Elite Four. Ash and Brock are amazed and ask to learn the secrets of Pokemon training. Shiba understands and tells the m to work harder. They then leave him Going down a road, Ash, Ash`s Friends and Team Rocket are attacked by the giant Onix . They send some of their Pokemon and let them battle with Onix. Onix is ready to attack Ash. when Pikachu dashes to shield him, and shocks Onix.But electric attacks don't hurt Onix. Shiba appears rescuing them again . He speaks to Onix. Onix attacks him, as Shiba Defends .Finally, he succeeds to approach Onix, and pulls a Sandshrew out between rocks of his body; since Sandshrew annoyed him, he was mad. Ash and his friends and ask once more about the secrets of Pokemon training. Shiba says that they should have known that the trainer and his or her Pokemon must know each other very well.

72. Battle of Ancient Pokemon

Ash and his friends camp out  on a mountain, training for the Pokemon League. They discover the ruins of Pokemon civilization. Professor Hokuto who was looking for the ruins is really happy to see some items they found. That night, A Huge Gangar and Alakazam, come to life, battling with each other. Ash is afraid that they will destroy the mountain. Jigglypuff comes by, Ash asks her to sing, hoping the monsters fall asleep. Jigglypuff sings, not even bothering the huge Pokemon, but a giant Jigglypuff comes to life.She sings the ancient Pokemon sleep hopefully for a long time.

73. Growlithe's Friendship

Ash and his friends start for the Pokemon League. On the way, in field, Ash is called by a trainer named Saizou, who has a Growlithe. The Samurai suggets that they wager their badges on the battle. Since Ash is almost in late for the League, he wants to ignore the competitor and go ahead, but he battles him anyway.

When Ash wins, Saizou curses that he could have won badges. Ash is surprised, that he challenged him without owing his own badges. Saizou, tells that he has collected eight badges from local gym trainers, but was robbed by Team Rocket. Ash wants to help him get them back.Growlithe is disappointed with his trainer, and is leaving him. Saizou tries to stop him, but Growlithe refuses. Ash tells Saizou that he should get badges back first, to recover the friendship with Growltithe

They find the gang and duel with them for Saizou's badges.Growlithe, a bit away, seeing Pokemon trainers and Pokemon, talking to each other turns around to catch up with him. When Growlithe reachs Saizou, they fight Team Rocket, defeating them and get his badges back.

74. Moltres!

A Torch relay is held on the day before the Pokemon League starts. The flames are from the legendary Pokemon Moltres.When it was Ash`s turn he received the League Flame, and runs along with Pikachu and watched by people on the both sides of the road. Team Rocket blocksthe relay, to get the torch. Meowth attacks Ash. Hurt, he throws the torch, and Meowth catches it, its flames burning him by accident. Meowth flings it, and Pikachu gets it. James tries to hop on him. Pikachu tosses the torch to Ash, and attacks James with his electric shock. Ash and James grab the torch at the same time. They pull the torch as Meowth tickles Ash under the arms. Ash releases his grip on the torch, and the villains leave quickly. Ash is PO`ed that he couldn't protect the torch of the Pokemon League. However, the league chairman has the ember, restarting another torch. He runs again and then it is passes to Misty and Brock until they finally reach the League Stadium. The following morning, in the middle of the opening ceremony, Team Rocket intrudes to rob the 2nd torch, since theirs has burnt out. Ash fights to save the torch for himself Rocket takes the flames, and tilts it towards Ash, burning him. However, the flames which has burning Ash werent Hot. They change in to the form Moltres, burning the gang.

75. Pokemon-League Opening Game

Ash's first match will be in the water field, and his opponent whose name is Comb. Ash sends Krabby, though Misty and Brock suggest that he should use a diffrent Pokemon because it is his first time using Krabby. However, Krabby and Ash get along well, and during the duel, Krabby evolves into Kingler.Quickly defeating Comb .Then they win the game.

76. Battle with Flames in Ice Field!

Ash wins his 2nd Battle in the Rock Field. They go to town where  Ash wants to take Pikachu to a Pokemon  Center, they find a nurse. The blue-haired nurse explains that she has been sent by a Pokemon center, to find trainers who need one. Ash and his friends follows her to her Pokemon center, and then Ash gives his Pikachu to the nurse. But it is Team Rocket , and the nurse is James' disguise. With Brock's help, Ash takes Pikachu back. The next day, Ash duel swith a trainer in the ice field. The trainer sends an Arcainine to the battle, while Ash responds by sending Pikachu. Arcainine shoots flames out, its heat melting ice into water in the field. Pikachu knows water conducts electricity,. Pikachu attacks with his electric shock, and he wins.

77. Formidable rival

Gary loses the forth match. This Ash makes realize he is better than Gary. His opponenton the forth match is a girl whose name is Kaoruko.Ash sends Bulbasaur, and he defeates the first two pokemon of Koruko easily. The last Pokemon of hers is  a Bellsprout. He is so weak, which makes Ash think that he would win. However, Kaoruko's Bellsprout seems to have been trained very well, and beats Bulbasaur. Pikachu goes to the field, and shocks Bellsprout, but it has no effect. A root of Bellsprout hits Pikachu on the head, and Pikachu falls. Ash sends Muk for the last chance. Muk is strong for grass types, and successfully defeats Bellsprout in a close call

78. New Rival

All the trainers in the league are summoned in front of the league hall, and asked to give their Pokemon for checkups. The Trainers listen to the two officers, they then find that they are Team Rocket and it is their trap.The Villains run by bus, Ash and another trainer Hiroshi chase them, taking a shortcut. On the way, the two boys get to know each other very well. Then they finally find Team Rocket's bus in forest. Hiroshi has a Pikachu named Leon. Two Pikachus shock the gang together, successfully driving them away. Then Ash's  finds out his next opponent  for the league is Hiroshi

79. Dueling with Hiroshi!

Ash receiveds a call from Hiroshi, askes to come to see him in the forest. However, it is Team Rocket's trap, and Pikachu and Ash have tricked. With some other Pokemon's help, Ash escapes the Rocket Gang. Ash is in time for the match, yet his Pokemon, including Pikachu, have been exhausted after battles with the gang. As Squirtle and Pikachu lose battles, Ash has to rely on Charizard. But he doesn't listen, and, finally, lays on the ground. Ash loses :(

81. Another Departure

Since was Ash ranked in the 16th place in the Pokemon league, his friends hold a party. Team Rocket  crashes it and captures Pikachu.Ash sends Charizard, afraid that he cant control him,asks him to rescure Pikachu. However, as Ash feared, Charizard ignores him and see food on a table. As he approaches it, a bomb Team Rocket threw hit it. Really PO`ed, he attacks the gang, and Pikachu is saved.

After the party, Professor Oak asks Ash and his friends to go to Daidai island of the Orange islands, and see one of his friends there. They decide to take Professor's offer. While thry are Traveling , a Fearow appears in the sky, and shoots straight toward them. Freaked, Ash is reminded of a spearow whom he threw a stone at on in the first episode, and wonder if he has evolved. Later, a flock of Pidgeys and spearows confront for a territorial conflict. Ash's Pidgeotto seeing the dispute heads for the flock of Pidgeys, and drives Spearows away. During the battle, he evolves into Pidgeot. But the Spearows may be back and frighten the Pidgeys again. Ash asks his Pidgeott to stay with them and protect them.

82. Airship Mishap

To arrive Daidai island as early as they can, Ash and his party talk to consider the journey on an airship.  However, since they know that the ticket is too expensive, they have to give up the idea. And then Ash finds a raffle and wins three tickets for an airship bound for Orange island. The ship is owned by Team Rocket. Ash also find the ship in bad condition when he and his friends get aboard. When the ship is about to take off,Jigglypuff fiddles with a device, accidently switching it to takeoff. The ship floats up, a rope which hangs from the ship catches her foot, and taking her upward. Then Team Rocket notices that there is not a pilot aboard. Jigglypuff, who hangs from the ship with the help of the rope, gets in the ship. In the cabin, the kids and Pikachu also scream as the ship inclines. When the ship is finally balanced, Misty finds Togepi has disappeared. They walk around , looking for him. When they find him  balanced on a beam highly over their heads, the trio from Team Rocket shows up, getting in the way. Ash and Brock battle with them, and kick them out of the ship, as Misty then gets Togepi.

83. Pokemon in the South (Brocks last Episode)

Ash and his friends finally arrive at Daidai island, and are surprised to see Prof. Uchikido, is woman, and she is HOT!. She shows them a Pokeball, it`s gold and silver, with a couple of letters which read 'G' and 'S', called GS ball, They will try to take it to Prof. Oak. And what intrests them much more is Pokemon they find in the island, for they are different from what they used to see in the term of markings and colors, which is the subject of Uchikido's study. It attracts Brock's interest, too, and makes him decide to stay there. Ash is astonished, feeling sad when he is leaving a friend, but he realizes soon what Brock wants to do, be a Pokemon breeder.

Then  they realize that they cant get home. When they reach the spot they landed, they find the ship repaired. After they take off, the villains tries to capture Pikachu, as Jigglypuff shows up, a mike in her hand, then starts to sing.Half asleep, the villains escape the ship with parachutes on their backs as Jigglypuff is also thrown away through the exit by the vacuum of being high up. Pikachu and kids fall are still asleep in the ship.

84. Lapras in Trouble

The airship crashes on Bontan Island. Pikachu and Kids get out of the ship and wander around the island, seeking for some ones who can help them, and see a very young Lapras, treated badly by a young trio. Ash's party stands the way commanding them to stop hitting Lapras. However, they don't listen to them, and are ready to challenge Ash to a Pokemon battle. Just then a boy shouts to stop. He is Kenji, a Pokemon watcher,who travels to observe different Pokemon, and wants to exam Ash's Pikachu and other Pokemon owned by the Trio. When he observes Pikachu, the trio sends their Pokemon to fight Pikachu. As Ash orders him to shock them, Pikachu jumps, attacking the guys' Pokemon with an electric shock. The trio runs away, and then Ash and his friends and Kenji take Lapras to Pokemon center. Now Lapras is cowardly, unable to believe people. Ash approaches him, telling that he is safe in the presence of him and his friends, but in vain. They talk about what to do. During the talk, Ash learns about Orange league, another Pokemon league, and wants to join. Suddenly, Team Rocket intrudes the center, capturing Lapras. Ash and his friends tries hard to take him back, fighting villains, and that makes Lapras believe them. As he successfully rescue Lapras, Ash has a couple of new friends, Lapras and Kenji.

85. Orange League!

In this episode, Team Rocket travels in a Magikarp-shaped sub, following after Ash's party. But when they feel tired, the sub's screw catches some seeweed, then begins to sink--to the bottom of the sea... riding on Lapras, Ash and his party travel the surface of the sea, heading for Natsukan island where a local gym is located. Lapras shakes, Pikachu slips down his back. Ash manages to catch him. After landing, on the way to the gym, Ash finds a coconut on a side of the road, and, delighted, runs close, as Pikachu follows. However, it is a trap which the gym leader's young brother made. Ash picks the nut up, then water drops from the top of a tree near them, washing the poor boy and electric mouse. When Ash is ready to duel the boy, the gym leader Atsumi shows up, accepting Ash's challenge. Orange Pokemon league has its own rule, that Pokemon have to compete with their techniques, not battling each other. During the game in the sea, as usual, Team Rocket intrudes, Then Pikachu slips his tail into water, shocking them. Afer that, the two trainers continue the game. It will be settled by competing with the technique of surfing. Ash rides Lapras, while Atsumi uses Blastoise. Ash exerts all his power and wins, which brings a badge for the league to him.

86. Mystery of Disappearing Pokemon

Starving, Ash and his party land Kinkan island, and is going to a restaurant. On the way, they find a few Pokemon attacking their trainers. Ash calls Pikachu, and dashes toward them to stop Pokemon. Suddenly, Pikachu stops, and turns around to Ash, Confused, Ash steps toward him, as he shocks him quickly. Togepi also changes.The Pokemon leave their trainers and disappear. When they see Police, they learn that many other trainers experience that recently in the island. Team Rocket, As they arrive the island, Meowth attacks his two friends, Jessie and James, and leaves them. The couple run after him, finding another couple of their team, Butch and Cassidy (Bout Time they showed up again), They find a Drowzee, whose hypnotic wave affects Pokemon....as he dances the hula!! Jessie and James are defeated, their other pokemon taken by Butch and Cassidy, and deside to team up with Ash's party to take their Pokemon back.

At Butch`s hideout, Ash sees Pikachu, who is now hypnotized. Cheered by Jessie and James, Ash fights to save his friend. Pikachu chases Ash, trying to shock him. He comes and stands just near dansing Drowzee, and Pikachu shocks him, and Drowzee. Pikachu and other Pokemon recover, ready to fight Butch and Cassidy. But Drowzee is not beaten, and begins to swing his fingers. No one knows what will happen by. Togepi does that too. Soon his fingers brightens--A big explosion happens. The case concludes with Butch and Cassidy arrested, and no one notice dTogepi's power, thinking that it been caused by Drowzee.

87. Crystal Onix (new Pokemon)

When Ash and his party travel in the sea, heading for Ponkan island, they find a bottle which contains a letter, asking about a crystal Onix. They see who sent the letter, a girl named Masami, when they land and roam the island, and learn that her grandfather, a glass maker, happened to see a crystal Onix. Her brother Isamu inherited his buisness, but has not made glass as well. Ash's party decide to help the brother and sister seek for Crystal Onix, and Kenji states that he has a Pokemon that be able to help them, sending him. Appears a blue mouse from his pokeball; it is PIKABLU. Kenji lets him hear the roar of Onix. Pikablu, whose hearing is excellent, traces the sound given to him, and successfully leads his party to the cave Onix lives. When Onix appears, Isamu challenges him, trying to capture him. However, the existence of the crystal Pokemon gives him inspiration. Onix leaves, and Isamu finds himself able to make good work when he returns home with Ash's party.

88. Pink Pokemon

Misty is worrying about Togepy,she thinks that he doesn't learn any abilitys for battles. When she and boys talk about the topic, Lapras is caught by a swift current. Swept away by it, Ash and his friends arrive at Pinkan island where no one is allowed to land except. They find pink Pokemon (real name wasn`t given) there, and Kenji, as a Pokemon watcher, is delighted and wants to observe them. However, Ash accidently provokes Psyhorn, and the raged beast makes a dash for kids and Pokemon. They shut their eyes helplessly, as Togepy swings his fingers. A moment later, they find themselves teleported to a grass field. Kids wonder who have transfered them, suspicious of Togepy, but not sure. Team Rocket also landed the island. They plan to capture pink Pokemon, rare species, and fail, as usual, and is chased by Nidoking. Ash and his party get into a jeep, and go to calm him down, but he has flown into a rage. He dashes, attacking the jeep, as Togepy swings his fingers again. A clear barrier shields the car, blocking the beam Nidoking shot. They then successfully capture Nidoking and leave the island, keeping the suspition on Togepy.

89. Secret of Fossils

A fossil was found on an island, a party of excavators, along with TV crews, is sent to it for examining and excavation. Ash and his friends happen to see that, and want to go with them. Then they discover fossils, as the moon turns red, catching the light, Fossils turn into living creatures, and head to the sea. The island starts to shake, making people realize that the island has been made up of  Fossils. They narrowly escape, seeing Fossils swimming away.

90. Dance! Pokemon Showboat!

Ash and his friends see a Pokemon showboat. They stage a drama in which Pokemon act with the humans dubbing (Strange). There is a Raichu, whose trainer is Kei, and he is too shy and cowardly, so he cann`t perform on the stage. Kei tells Ash and other kids the story when he came to join the boat; Raichu liked her and he hugged her, accidently shocking her. She pushed him away, and he was sad. She is also scared to touch him. Team Rocket intrudes the boat, in hope of capturing Pokemon there. Pokemon and the trainers help each other, fighting the villains. However, Raichu is frightened, but when he sees his trainer shilding him to risk herself, he make up his mind to hel. With other Pokemon and trainers, he and Kei confront Team Rocket, successfully driving them away. Now Raichu is important to the Showboat, and can play his role on the stage. Pikachu, wearing a taxedo, appears on the stage, dancing with Raichu and other Pokemon. (odd)

91. Bye, Psyduck! Hello, Golduck?

Pikachu, Togepy and Psyduck are on the back of Lapras floating in the sea. After a while, Psyduck slides down the back of Lapras, and falls into the sea,no one notices it. When they can't find him around, Misty, go panics,because he can't swim though he is a duck (Ha ha).A girl named Tsubaki saves him and takes him to the beach where they are. She likes water Pokemon like Misty, and want to duel with each other. During the battle, Misty is going to send Psyduck, because Tsubaki also has one too. The pokeball of Psyduck is in her sack, so askes Ash to take and bring it to her. Ash throws it toward her, but it drops into the sea which.When she goes to get it  she sees a Golduck near her and thinking that her Psyduck evolved.Later, Team Rocket intrudes stopping the battle. After Team Rocket loses, they resume the battle, and Misty's Golduck wins. Quite pleased, Misty takes his pokeball to withdraw him, and suprised--as Psyduck comes out of it. She and her friends are confused for a moment, but realize that Golduck is wild, not her Psyduck's evolution.

92. The Sailing Nurse

Ash and his friends see a nurse of a Pokemon center traveling in the sea. Some islands dont have a Pokemon center on it, so she likes to go to each of them, caring for the Pokemon in it, becauseshe was saved by Magikarp when she was a little girl. Ash wants to help her, and Pikachu and other kids agree with him. However, when she needs to go to cure a baby Seel, Team Rocket appears and attacks them, planning to capture Pikachu. They, including the nurse, think that they are helpful and don't know what to do, Magikarp, the nurse's friend, comes to help her. The villains try to drive him away, as he evolves to Gyarados. He attacks the gang, beating them....badly

93. Battle on Snow Mountain

To gain the Navel badge for the Orange league, Ash and his friends go to Navel island, and see a young man named Dan who is going to the gym too. They enter the gym, facing a rocky mountain and a cablecar beside it. Pikachu sees a board which reads that competition should climb the mountain without Pokemon's help. Their friends can use the cablecar, Misty and Kenji get into it, carried to the top of the mountain, while Ash starts up the steep Moutain, following Pikachu and Dan. Having a hard time along the way. Halfway up Team Rocket intrudes his to try to capture Pikachu as usual. Dan helps the Ash and Pikachu escape the villains's attack, and successfully drivesthem away. When they arrive at the  top of the mountain, Ash is told that Dan is the gym leader. He says that Ash can challenge him because he has overcome the hard work on the mountain with his own might. Although Team Rocket interupts the duel again, taking Pikachu away, the two rivals help each other to get him back. After defeating the gang, they resume the fight, and Ash wins. He wins Navel badge .

94. Snorlax Panic!

Ash and his friends arrive at Shaddock islands, each one covered with shaddock trees. They land one of them, seeing the fruits ripe on branches of trees, and Ash takes one of them, as a woman runs toward them, crying, "thieves!" He looks around for theives, but finds that she is talking about him. After he explains, she says her name is Nana. He wants to help her. Soon after, they find out that Snorlax is eating eveything Snorlax shows up and begins to eat the shaddocks. Ash and Misty send their Pokemon, commanding to fight him, but they are no match for him. While Nana and kids are annoyed, Snorlax has eaten up all fruits in a couple of islands, and swims to reach another island. Jigglypuff shows up. They plan to let her sing him to sleep. She begins to sing. Half Asleep Ash and his Pokemon fight a drowsey Snorlax and he captures him

95. Phantom Ship

The championship cup of the Orange League from 300 years ago was excavated on Sudachi island. Ash and his party happen to be there, and go to the museun in which the trophy is displayed, learning that it has been stolen. Later they find that it is Team Rocket's work, and chase them to the sea. An old, ruined ship is in their way, and both parties get board accidently. No one is found on it, as if it is a phantom ship, when Togepy accidently falls into a split on the deck. They go downstars, looking for the baby Pokemon, and find a Ghastly and Hunter playing with Togepy. They explain that the ship was owned by their trainer, who won the Orange League 300 years ago, but later it sank in a storm. The two ghost Pokemon have stayed on the ship protecting the trophy, because it is the treasure of their friend who is now dead. Ash gives it back to them.

96. Meowth's Island

While Ash and his friends are traveling on Lapras, Team Rocket attacks. Ash sends Squirtle, commanding him to drive the gang away.The Gang falls into the sea. Meowth finds himself on an island alone after the battle with Squirtle, seeing many people around him, and a moment later is told that the island people worship Meowth as a god (he he), believing that he or she brings happiness to them. Meowth is happy. Although Ash's party, Jessie, and James also arrive at the island, Meowth orders people to drive them back, explaining that they are unhappy spirits. Team Rocket gets angry at his ego, but recognize that their friend can be happy there, deciding to leave him. The poo hits the fan when people of the island mention the ceremony of happiness which isnt reall that happy. Meowth has to be involved. However, the ceremony is difficult for him, and Jessie and James can't bear seeing him in trouble. They show up to help him, and take him back. As they leave, Meowth tells people that he can't bring happiness to them, but he has friends with whom he seeks for happiness, so they should try something to find happiness themseves.

97. Scyther be a soldier

In Marcot island Ash and his friends find old Scyther  hurt on the ground. They want to help him, but he is menacing them by groaning loudly. Kenji successfully captures him after a brief duel, and takes him to Pokemon Center, accompanied by other kids and Pikachu. When they arrive at the center, the nurse explains the conditions of Scyther, that he was the head of the swarm of Scythers, but was challenged by a young Scyther and defeated and kicked out of the swarm . When old Scyther is cured at the center, Team Rocket intrudes the island, finds the Scyther swarm and captures all of them. Old Scyther senses it and leaves the center, heading for the swarm. Ash and his party follow him. Scyther fights the gang, but his hurt body cant withstand battling. The present head of swarm, who has been watching him fight to protect him and other friends, takes sides with him. Other Scyther also join the battle, and successfully drive Team Rocket away. Old Scyther says good bye to his swarm, deciding to go with Kenji, his new trainer.

98. Pokemon on the Southern Islands

Ash and his friends decide to take a brief rest in one of the Souther Island. All Pokemon are out of Pokeballs .However, there is one problem. Ash's Charizard doesn't like Kenji's Scyther. They are both strong, and stubborn almost sparking trouble.The following day Team Rocket intrudes the peace of the island, in hope of capturing all the Pokemon from Ash's party--as usual. Charizard and Scyther are quite helpful, and drive them away. They are now friendly rivals.

99. Kanna of the Elite Four!

Ash and his friends arrive on Mandirin island.He sees Kann of the Elite four. Ash wants to duel with her, constantly asking her to,while she ignores him. Ash get Annoyed and, he finds a trainer passing near them, and asks him to dual. Since the trainer accepts his challenge, they fight. Ash wins, but Charizard is excited and doent want to go back into the Pokeball as Ash asks him to, until Kanna helps him. After the trouble, Kanna invites Ash and his friends to the class in which she demonstrates Pokemon duels. Her method of battle is overwhelming. Ash asks her to fight him af and she finally accepts hi. However Kanna is too strong for him and beats the crap out of Ash. When the duel finished, she tells him to think a great deal of badges he won.Ash then realises that his Pokemon brought them to him, fighting hard battles. When he is thinking how dear his Pokemon are, Team Rocket intrudes as usual, trying to capture Pikachu, and is driven away by Kanna's Pokemon.

100. Nidoran's Love Story

Ash and his friends are still on Mandarin island, seeing a girl named Emily and her friends looking for her Nidoran(female). Ash decides to help. Looking around the forest , his friends and two kids find a couple of Nidorans; Since they love each other. However, their trainers are not on good terms with each other, and they never see each other.Team Rocket, in hope of capturing the couple of Nidorans, traps them and takes them away. Their trainers and Ash's party look for them, and find them in a forest, seeing them helping each other to fight villains, and recognizing how much they are in love with each other. After defeating the gang, Nidorans' trainers decide to make a house for them.

101. Magnimite on the vast plain

Still on Mandarin island, Ash and friends are caught in a storm, thunder is roaring in the sky, and they see Magnimite catching the lighting, and charging up. They are owned by Ford, who travels around the island to supply with Magnimite`s electric power to the towns. Magnimites like Pikachu's electricity, and surround him. Pikachu is frightened and Ash tries to help him, the Magnimites shock Ash by accident. Ford is surprised to see Ash OK after the shock.There is a power failure in a town, and Ford has to go there, Then Team Rocket attacks , hurting Ford. Ash decides to town for him.When he goes Team Rocket intrudes again. Pikachu fights them but is having trouble, a Magnimite watched Pikachu fight, and helps him, they successfully drive Team Rocket away. Then Ash finally arrives at the town of power failure and Restores Power.

102. Phantom of the Sewer

Ash and his friends arrive in Big City still on Mandarin island. Team Rocket shows up and Ash and his friends fall to an Sewer. While trying to find a way out a vine comes and grabs Bulbasaur and drags him into the water. A moment after that Officer Jenny helps them out of the sewer. Back on the surface Officer Jenny tells about how the vines come and take peoples food by surprise. The Mayor of the city, who wants to be re-elected, promises to kill the phantom. Ash and his friends sneak into the sewers hoping they`ll find the phantom before the mayor does. They then see a large Bulbasaur, and find out that the Bulbasaur was abandoned by the Mayor a long time ago. The large Bulbasaur took Ash`s Bulbasur so it could have a friend. Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy decide to adopt the large Bulbasaur, and Ash is happy to get his pokemon back

103. Citron City Gym! 3 on 3 Battle!

Ash and his friends  are on Citron island. They head towards the local gym. On the way to the Citron Gym, they see a girl drowning in the ocean. After they rescue her, she tells them that she is the sister of the loacal gym trainer, Jiggy. When Jiggy shows up to see if his sister is alright, Misty gets a giant crush on Jiggy. Later, Ash asks Jiggy to duel, they decide to battle the next day. Jiggy asks Misty to stay with him and for the night, he also tells her that he loves her. The next day, Ash and Jiggy meet each other. The rule is that each trainer only use three Pokemon. Jiggy`s Pokemon dominate Ash`s Pokemon. Misty can't stand seeing Ash losing and she wants to cheer him, yet she doesn`t want to make Jiggy mad at her either. Ash then gains the upper hand and wins the Badge, Misty (relieved on the inside) then screams at Ash for winning.
