Help Wanted: This family has been very hard to trace anyone. My grandmother had a sister who my mother grew up believing her name was Evelyn. I have searched the vital records and found no Evelyn but I did find a Regina Renoldi Danlic born to Anthony Danlic and Elizabeth Studenski. My mother was told that Anthony was involved in the black market. Maybe that was why he was know by three variations of Danlic. He was born a Danielczyk, believed in Polland/Russia. He grew up with his family speaking fluent Polish. His siblings and his mother did migrate to the U.S.A. I dont know if his father did as well. His family lived for a time in Brockton Mass. Later in years they were in New Jersey. When my mothers Aunt was about 10-12 years old she was taken from her mother by Anthony, and she was presumed dead. Some say he may of killed her himself. I guess this is a mystery we will never know. I personally did meet my GGrandfather Anthony on one occasion back in about 1963 and he was about 90 years old. He was very spry for his age, as I dont remember him as being an old man. I thought of him as a quiet gentle man. I dont believe he killed his daughter, but I would love to find out what happened to her.
Studenskis are hard to trace as well. There were a few who were born, married in Brockton Mass, but for some strange reason, there are absolutely none in the Vital Records. Some death records of descendants have listed her as being born in Cambridge Mass another listed her as being born Russia. Her father lived in Brockton Mass as well as her mother, so I suspect that she was born in Cambridge. Such a mystery |
