On the back of the house on the right it says, "Hillview" Glasgow Rd.,Kilayth - If anyone knows the whereabouts of this address, I would love to know. The two houses look alike but I dont think they are the same the house, I would love some input from those who know more than I.

This is believed to be Elizabeth Dunlop,      b. abt 1807 West Calden, m.28 Feb 1834 Linlithgow, to Robert Duncan d. 18 Jun 1869 Linlithgow
Parents unknown. Mother of 9 children

This is believed to be David Duncan and   wife Elizabeth Williamson. David s/o Robert and Eizabeth(on left) b.23 May 1837   Linlithgow m.14 Nov 1856 Linlithgow, d.5 May   1920.
Elizabeth d/o Alexander Williamson &    Marjory Hunter b. abt 1831 Bo'Ness, d.16 Sep 1917 Linlithgow.
Parents of 7 children

< Seated in front, is my greatgrandfather,
Robert Duncan. He was president of the
Midlothian Cycle Club and (I think) this was
the first three in a race which he won in
1881 . The winners medal is in the
possession of one of his grandchildren.
Robert was born 8 Dec 1856 Linlithgow s/o
David & Elizabeth (above right). He married
8 Oct 1882 at St. Giles, Edinburgh to
Barbara Steel Emslie, d/o Peter Emslie & Janet Steel.
He died 22 Jan 1945 Glasgow.
He and Barbara had 7 children.

118 Garthland Drive, Dennistoun, Glasgow. This is the tenement house my ancestors first came to from Linlithgow. This building has been refurbished and is now a visitors attraction, with tours through the homes.
