| I am searching for any information that anyone might have on my GGGrandfather "Peter Emslie" Peter was born abt. 1817 (whereabouts unknown) He married 9 Nov 1845 to Janet Steel in Linlithgow. In the 1881 census he was listed as a shoemaker. He and Janet had to my knowledge, 5 children: Agnes, Barbara, David, Robert and Mary. | Reading the above, I would guess that Peter would be a son of Peter Emslie & Agnes Smith, 2nd guess would be James Emslie & Barbara McConnach.........Any input? |
