This is my Sony deck, the first mod I did to my car. I had to
do it because the stock system was just AM/FM radio, it didn't even have
a cassette player. The switch on the ashtray is my remote starter
switch.
This is the new paint job I did on my front grill. It used to be chrome/grey/red/black. Now it's all black.
Here are some pics of my relocated TFI module. Since my battery is in the trunk, this left a perfect place for me to bolt the TFI module assembly. I even used one of the bolts for the battery tray. Click on the images for the full screen pictures.
This is a top pic. You can see the TFI on the bottom with the plug coming off of it. The heat sink is on top with the fan on top of that.
This is a side view of the whole assembly. See those 3 red wires coming off of it. They connect the module to the 3 slots in the distributor via 3 spade connectors. The spade connectors on the TFI module are quite thick so you need thick spade connectors on the wires too.
This pic shows the 3 wires from the TFI module going into the distributor. There is a gutted TFI module in place of the old one to plug up the whole in the distributor.
