Chapter One:
If you watch carefully in the first scene, you drop the tool that you were using in the field to go help the old man. Instead of going to kill the Krug tourching your farmhouse, go back and search out the fields. You should find four tools back there that can be used as weapons. They aren't all that good, slow attack speed with 1 to 4 damage, but you can arm others and sell them if you really want to. Then, proceed to the bridge where you found the old man, and you should see two torch toting Krug. After you kill them, you have a choice to make, what do you want your character fight with, nature magic, combat magic, bows and arrows, or da hacky-slashy guy (melee weapons). Equip that combat skill, and plow your way into the forest. Eventually, you will come upon a house. There is nothing really here, except Krug. However, if you move onward, the second house contains a man. Talk to him, and he will ask you to clean out his basement for you. The entrence to the basement is on the left side when you face the house. Make sure you have the weapon that you're specializing in equiped, because the game tailors the items you get to that. After killing the two Krug on the first level of the basement, get on the moving platform and travel down (what a rich guy, has an elevator in his basement!!!). In the sub-basement, there are 4 Krug, and your first "unique" enemy. He is more powerful then the rest, but drops lots more stuff then most enemies.
