ONLINE GAME RULINGS (Q&A)

Online D&D games will start as soon as possible and they will be posted below for dates. Dates may change and cancelations may occur so remember to check the page..or E-Mail me to find out what is going on.



Now there are obvious questions to the rules of online D&D. Here are some popular questions

1.Q:Who roles the dice

A:Until a program is created to show the amounts all all persons screens... The current DM will roll the dice, or some better method will be figured out.(It is normally pretty obvious if someone is fixing the scores)


2.Q:How are we going to keep track of what the characters are so that no one is giving themselves "presents"?

A: It's simple really... you make a copy of what your stats are...and items you have are... then you send a copy of it to the DM for the mission. (I would advise saving a copy of the writeup of the character on your computer.


3Q:What happens if we can only be on for a half an hour to an hour... how do we finish a mission in that ammount of time?

A: The answer is we don't...we either continue a little ways without the person who left (we pretend he took a safe root and meets up with us when he gets back)... Or we do sections of a mission. We continue it when we get the chance.


4.Q: What do we do if there is someone we don't like who is in the clan? (because they are a constant pest or a terrible player)

A: They must be voted out by the entire group A UNANIMUS DECISION must take place...and if they are new to the game we will give some leeway.


5.Q:What do we do if we are telling a joke, and the DM thinks it was the truth and bad things come of it?

A: You must always type j/k in the sentance you are telling the joke in right after the punctuation mark example:
blah blah blah! j/k


6.Q:How do we keep chaos from forming when everyone is trying to type at once?

A:We have a set order in which people can talk, and uless there is something urgent like "I HAVE TO LEAVE RIGHT AWAY!" then you do not talk out of turn

Getting tired of Boring Campaigns like ones where its always a setting like... You are sitting in a bar...THEN SEND ME NEW IDEAS!!!! Here are some of the current Ideas I have recieved in the Mail


***CAMPAIGN SETTINGS***

1) Players are taken throgh a little tour of the Abyss. (Don't start it the way you would having them dragged away by something, or them getting hit on the head and waking up there. Actually have all the players killed in a fight with an impossibly hard creature, so they die. Once they are dead have them meet up with the rest of their dead party, and have a supreme evil give them a test to let the survivers return to the living. (have a nice hard boss at the end, and let them recieve prizes based on difficulty.) This is best if done by high Level characters.

2) Start the party members by having them called in by a lord, or a king. The king then requests that the party members retrieve a Godly Wizard's Spellbook that contains horribly powerful spells. They must travel a chosen path deep into a sorcerer's castle, and are faced by many spell casters. They then retrieve the book and this is where it gets interesting. If any mortal is to read the spells in this book, they will be so mind boggling that a sense of fury will form in the character causing him to attack wildly. (This is what happens to the king when you return to him...make him tough cause he ends up being the main boss. They then recieve items of much riches from the sleign body of the king if they are able to defeat him. (He should be a powerfull mage, but not powerfull enough when he reads the book!) Let them find interesting mage items as they travel through out the Sorcerer's Castle.

1. I have gotten the idea that maybe starting some higher level missions online would be a good thing... but this will require some work on members parts. I would need everyone to get me a copy of what is on their character before we start. (or I would need to rely on trust, and what other people know about your character.)
