(Liberation of departed beings)

OM BENZAR SATO HUNG

In Vajrayana Buddhism, there are many Buddhas and Bodihisattvas, each having the merit and power to purify the negative karma of sentient beings. Among them, Vajrasattva is the king of purification of negative karma. His vow of compassion is so great that he can destroy Vajra Hell. Just by hearing His name or regarding the practice, one can be liberated from Vajra Hell, what more the three lower realms

Through it, the dead - our ancestors, relatives or friends are liberated to attain the pure land or happy realms of existence. In fact, the benefits should not only extended to the people we know or are aware of, it is also exceedingly beneficial to our karmic debtors, suffering spirits and all sentient beings. Truly, this altruistic objective is the best way for one to practice compassion and bodhicitta. At the same time, one also accumulates immeasurable merit and benefits.

For the living, by participating in the ceremony, they will accumulate merit which will help to purify negative karma and clear obstacles. This Vajrasattva Jang Chok Ceremony is another special practice of the Dudjom New Treasure lineage with great blessing power that is many times more powerful than ordinary ceremonies for liberating beings.
