ANNUAL ACTIVITIES
- 1. "KUCHOI" -- a memory offering prayer. This prayer is being done
as a remembrance to H.H Dudjom Rinpoche. Annually, a Tsog offering will be presented in the
centre in January in memorial of the late H.H Dudjom Rinpoche. On the occassion of performing
the puja, we gathered up the holy things that we would like to offer, and we ourselves gathered
together with all dharma brothers and sisters, practising the same puja,
concentrating our minds in one same universal. Therefore, by gathering together and saying prayers,
may the merits that are accumulated, all dedicate to H.H Dudjom Rinpoche.
- 2. A Jang Chok Puja will be performed most likely in June and it is the combination puja
between the Vajrayana and Mahayana. In the morning, the Mahayana session will be conducted
by Reverend Seck Kim Meng whereas in the evening, the puja will be conducted by our most honourable
guru Dungsey Garab Dorje Rinpoche. This three days puja is performed especially for the
transference of merits to our past ancestors and hungry ghosts in celebration of the "All
Souls Day" which fall on the 14th day of the 7th month of the lunar calender, for their
purification, liberation and quick rebirth to the pure land of Amitabha Buddha. Should the
deceased be trapped in the three lower realms, the dedication of merits can reduce their
sufferings, and help to improve future rebirths to human or heaven realms. This ceremony
will provide us an opportunity to help all other mother sentient beings who are still trapped in
the ocean of sufferings, and to repay the kindness of our dearly departed loved ones.
