The boat was hired from 'Ripplecraft' yard at Somerleyton on the River Waveney and was called 'Broadland Swan'.

The Broadland Swan moored at her home yard.

She was a 6 berth boat with a powerful diesel engine that made short work of the strong currents and was ahead of the time with the sliding cockpit roof.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at these pages they are planned to be ongoing and more added. We are still taking holidays on The Broads and our daughters, sons in law and grandson are now coming with us too!
