Goodbye
by Moon Cat

Hi! This is my first fan fic. It’s supposed to be funny – suppose being the key word here. Anyway, I read an Inu-Yasha story a while ago and this story is based off of what I read. So, enjoy.

"I can’t believe it," Duo sobbed, "We hardly knew each other, now he’s gone forever." Duo broke down crying and couldn’t go on.

"I know," Quatre sniffed, "life will never be the same."

"How could this have happened," Wufei asked heart brokenly, "we should have been more careful."

"We have to be strong and move on," Trowa closed his eyes, "but it’s so hard."

"This is pathetic," Heero stood up, unable to take anymore, "your mourning like you lost your best friend, it’s a bottle of conditioner!"

"You don’ t understand Heero," Quatre hugged the empty bottle, "now how am I going to get my hair so soft?"

"Yeah," added Trowa, holding the bottle himself – with much reluctance from Quatre, "Now how am I going to get my hair in this style, mousse makes it all stiff and sticky. How will I be able to achieve this natural look?"

"At least you can use mousse, how am I going to get my hair so shiny, I refuse to use that *girly* glitter." Wufei complained. He banged his fist on the table; "There is no justice in this world!"

Duo sniffled, "It made my hair so tangle free and easy to comb. It…it…" Duo had a heart wrenching sob and couldn’t continue.

Heero shook his head, getting up he picked up a green plastic bag. "Here. You guys are so pathetic." Pulling something out of the bag, he placed it on the table. A collective gasp of surprise went up from the group. There, sitting on the table, was a *gasp* brand-new bottle of conditioner!

"It’s mine!" the group shouted at the same time. Diving for the bottle, a four-way tug-of-war went on … until the bottle burst. The gang then sat back *again* in shock.

"Murder," Quatre whispered horrified.

"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO!" Duo screamed. All the pilots where in some form of shock or agony.

"I KNEW something like this would happen," Heero muttered. Clearing his throat he said in a louder voice, "You do know, that the shop five doors down sells this, don’t you." The pilots looked at each other for a split second, then on an unspoken command they all rushed out the door.

Heero watched them go, shaking his head. Going upstairs, he went to get something. Peeking out the door first, he rushed to the bathroom. A bottle of conditioner tucked firmly under one arm.
