Untitled as of yet Chapter 1
	This is a story that suggests what would have happened if Solo (Duo's best friend) had never died. Duo would have never become a Gundam pilot or any of that crap. This takes place in the L2 colony where Duo and Solo and the other orphans have built up a small village away from the city.     Duo gazed off into the distance with a bored look on his face. There really was nothing to do today. He stared off across the horizon, watching the sunrise from atop a hill. And the day is just starting he thought to himself which means I get to be bored for the rest of the day! Great. Just great. Duo got up and stretched and thought about what he should do to amuse himself so that he wouldn't die of boredom by the end of the day. He walked back to the woods deep in thought. When he reached the semi-village that he called home, a thought came to him. He smiled and hurried inside to the little house where he and his best friend Solo, the Leader of the group, were staying.      When he got inside, he saw his friend asleep on the couch. Duo walked in silently. This should provide a few seconds of fun he thought gleefully. He tippy-toed over to the couch and crouched down behind it. He peeked down over the top of it at the sleeping and unsuspecting Solo, cleared his throat quietly and yelled, "THIS IS THE POLICE! WE'VE FOUND YOU OUT NOW YOU DIRTY LITTLE THEIF! WE'VE GOTCHA NOW!"      "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" With a screech, Solo jumped up to confront the 'police' and fell off the couch, smashing his head on the coffee table in front of him. He sat up rubbing his head and looking around for the police. Loud laughing suddenly errupted from behind the couch. Solo poked his head over the couch. "DUO!" he yelled. "JEEZ MAN YA SCARED THE LIVIN DAYLIGHTS OUTTA ME!"      Duo was by this time rolling on the floor laughing and pointing at his best friend. "Awwww but Solo, you shoulda seen the look on your face! Ya could be a really good actor ya know?"      "You freak! Ya know ya could give someone a heart attack that way!" Solo glared at the other boy, "My heads gonna be sore for a friggin month!"      "Nah, ya gotta hard head it won't hurt nothin!"      "Gee, thanks a lot."      "Anytime. *sticks tongue out* Hey Solo, I'm bored. Let's go figure somethin out to do today!"      "After what ya just pulled ya want me to be yer entertainment? Jeez are you stupid!"      "Awwww come on I was just playin!"      "Listen I gotta stay here and help Jesse with the village supplies today remember? why don't ya go into town for awhile?"      "Jeez, you're no fun today Solo!" *Duo walks out of the room still looking for something interesting to do while Solo gets ready to go help Jesse* Hmmm...well I guess I'll go into town then since nobody here is doing anything of interest. Man I hate lazy days! Duo walked into town thinking if he knew anybody there that would be fun to hang around with today. He walked around until he saw some people arguing. He really hated the city: too crowded, too much arguing, just too much of everything. He hid in the shadows and listened to the conversation.      "So whadda ya think about that eh?"      "I dunno Jack, I think it's all a buncha made up crap!"      "But it's everywhere in the news. I don't think it would be in the news if it were a hoax." said Jack.      "Still..."      "Listen to this" *Pulls out newspaper* " 'It has been reported that a huge diamond has been spotted at the Murphy mansion in downtown L2. Reporters think it is stolen because it has more value than any diamond in the world today. Mr. Murphy denies the fact that it's stolen and claims it is an heirloom that has been passed down in the family for years. The funny thing is that this is the first time anyone has seen the diamond. Reporters are looking into the situation.' See? Right from the newspapers! Dang I wish I had that much money in my pocket!"      "Yeah? Well ya don't so get over it! It's just a buncha made up crap anyway."      "It is not! It's really there! It's in the paper!      Duo didn't listen to the rest of the conversation because it was getting boring. He walked away and left the two to argue. Damn he thought If I had that diamond it would sure help some with the food supply for the gang. Hmmm...I think I'll pay a little visit to this Murphy house. I'm sure I can use that diamond a lot more than that rich dude! And besides, if it's already stolen, it wont matter if its stolen again. He wont even notice it's gone before tomorrow. And here I was thinking it was gonna be a boring day!      Duo continued on his way to the Murphy estate happily thinking what he and Solo would use the diamond for. It would buy food and supplies for the village for a month! Well, thats chapter 1! This is only my second fic so don't expect any miracles! hope the suspense kills you waitin for the next chapter! and I need a couple of reviews for this one to decide if I should continue it. so R&R plz! *~Merle~*
