Noine turns her head from Zech's talk of battle plans, for a split second,
to hide a pang of hurt flashing through her body- the pain surely showed
on her face.
//Don't let him see....hide it hide it hide it...//
But seeing Zechs in full uniform, his platinum hair laying across his shoulders,
his commanding voice dictating instructions- yet maintaining a soft expression,
it seemed to melt her through and through.
//Swallow it down. Think of the battle plan. Just forget it, forget it,
forget it...//
Suddenly Zech's voice interrupted her mantra- "Leiutenant Noine, I once again put
my faith and trust in you to carry out my plan to it's finest detail, " Colonel
Zechs instructed. "I know I can count on you." *turns his eyes on Noin* who just
now faced him, eyes down, her usual acquiesent smile spreading across her face.
"I understand, Colonel Zechs. I will do my best to please you."
"Good," Zechs shot, ending the briefing and sending the soldiers out to their mobile
suits.

Every now and then I get a little bit tired
Of listening to the sound of my tears~~
//I'm so stupid!! He could have seen! What if he saw?! I could never forgive myself
...never.// She inwardly scolded herself at the possibility of showing weakness.
*wiping a cold sweat from her forehead* //He couldn't have seen, I've learned how

Suddenly, her heart wrenched and tore open.

"THINGS WILL NEVER CHANGE!" she screamed to the point of straining her vocal cords.
*she sprints to her mobile suit and leaps in*
"I've only stayed with OZ because Zechs did! And to Zechs I am nothing more than
a trusty Lieutenant, here to carry out his plan. Any chance I ever thought I had
was just my imagination!"

Every now and then I fall apart~~
*her eyes well up large with tears**she grips the black control handles of her
mobile suit...coming to a resolution*

*her jaw set, but her teeth chattering crazily, her whole body convulsing, it seems
she will snap*

Every now and then I get a little bit restless

*the chattering and shaking eerily and abruptly stops**her smile plays across her
face...a new smile though...a desperate smile**she turns her mobile suit's thrusters
to full force abandoning any plan Zechs had*

*The radar towers were going wild**A radar operator radios Zechs*"Colonel Zechs!!
What the hell is Mobile Suit 2 doing?! She's abandoning the troops!"
*Zechs hears the operator's message**his heart catches in his throat**he swings his
Tallgeese around mid-flight to Noine's direction*
"RRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!! NOINE!!"

Every now and then I get a little bit angry
and I know I’ve got to get out and cry~~
*Noine is heading at a steady pace toward the enemy line**tears are streaming down
her face yet her body is strangely still*

*Zechs catches up to Noine and stops in front of her to stop her*"Noine! What
are you doing? You'll get killed!"

*Noine bats Tallgeese away with a violent slap*"YEAH, too bad if Noine gets killed!

anymore!"*Noine pushes Tallgeese away and races off toward the enemy*
*Zechs chases after her at break-neck speed*"NOINE! COME BACK!"

*Zechs grits his teeth to deal with the force of his speed...and Noine's words*

((Noine's pretty face appeared in Zechs's mind. He thought ruefully of how
she had followed him blindly...anywhere. She always trusted him, never
questioned, her bright eyes shining with what was the love for him that he
hadn't seen.))
Zechs's heart almost burst with the love he felt for Noine *holding his breath
and clutching at his breast as if his heart would break out of his chest*

*Noine is heading straight into enemy forces, and she sees them preparing for her
arrival**She bites her lip to brace herself, a thin trickle of blood trailing
down her chin...her once smiling face, now bloodied with despair*

*Zechs is approaching Noine as he sees enemy suits flying toward her*
*The suit comes within close range of Noine*
//Now comes my final absolution of my unrequited love...// thought Noine.
*The suit rears back as it cocks its' cannon, aimed at Noine's mobile suit*
*Zech's eyes widen with horror...and all time seems to stop...*

*time is proceeding in slow motion...*
*Noine sees the approaching shot, bulleting toward her**she closes her
eyes* //I will love you forever, Zechs//

*Zechs sees the shot zipping towards Noine's mobile suit**He suddenly feels
himself almost physically fall apart...but then his becomes very clear, as if
his mind was the Zero System*
//Noine and I WILL
be together! No one will take her away!//

Time suddenly speeds ahead, seconds flew.
*Zechs flies at the
enemy suit who shot at Noine* "No one will take her!!!" *pulls out Tallgeese's
beam cannon and annhilates the enemy instantaneously*
*Zechs swings Tallgeese
around, just in time to see the shot hit Noine's suit squarely in the shoulder.*
An explosion burst on Noine's suit's shoulder, bright red. In that explosion,
Zechs saw his heart bursting into a million pieces, all hope shattered. He
realized the situation: she could die, and he would lose her.
*Noine's suit flies backwards, she screams from the pain of being hit*
*Other enemy suits back off the scene at the sight of Tallgeese*
~~I really need you tonight

*Noine's suit finally stops*
*Zechs hovers the Tallgeese near her suit, and opens both suits' doors.*
As Noine's suit's door opens, her body tumbles out, bruised and bloody. She is
alive, though badly hurt. To Zechs, each drop of blood, each bruise on her
body, was like the stabbing of a thousand knives in his own body.
*He gently helps her to her feet. Upon looking into her face, he embraces her tightly*
"Never leave me again! Don't ever think of leaving me!...I couldn't live..." Zechs
cried, half ecstatic that she was alize, and half crazy with disbelief of how
close he came to losing her.

*Zechs pulls away, and gently caresses her face* He said "You were never a joke. I
was, for hiding."
*Zechs, with a simple yet grand gesture which seemed to imply the ending of worlds,
took his mask off of his face, and discarded into the abyss of space. He now looked
at Noine face to face as his true self, Miliardo Peacecraft, and only his true
feelings showing*

*Zechs takes Noine's hands in his and draws her near to him**His eyes soften, he kisses
her hands* "Noine...I love you" Zechs said, so softly, filled with the love he had
hidden for years, now all spilling into the emotion put into those three little
words.
*Noine's eyes begin to water, and a tear trails down her cheek as her beautiful smile
returns* "I love you too, Zechs," she said, so relieved to finally be able to
utter those words to him.
*Zechs pulls her into his embrace, and their lips meet in the sweetest neverending
kiss that they had both imagined, now coming true...*
