What makes the Durham Celtic Club special: "I was a member when the club was founded in 1989, that's 20 years ago. Our goal at that time was to form a supporters club and possibly have a building of our own one day. Well Hail Hail we have ourselves a grand old club, but it's more than just a football club, it's also a very successful social club with entertainment of all kinds throughout the year. Since day one everyone has always been welcome, that's what makes our club so special. Visitors from overseas please make our club a stop on your list,
your guaranteed warm hospitality. It'll make you feel at home."
Chris Fitzpatrick - Vice President

What makes the Durham Celtic Club special: "I love the atmosphere of watching the game with fellow celtic supporters, and I look forward to the best roll'n sausage and pint of Guinness in Durham."
Maureen McAlarey - Treasurer
Originally From: Born in Paisley and raised in Nitshill.
Has lived in Canada: Since December 1986
What makes the Durham Celtic Club special: "The Club for me has been a home from home. It's a place you can go to any time and always feel welcome, where everyone knows each other and there is a true friendship among the members. Visitors have commented on what a great club we have and how comfortable they have been in our company. I have been a member since 1998 and I have seen the progress made through the years, all thanks to the different committees and volunteers, past and present. I am very honoured to be the first female elected to the executive, and feel very proud to be associated with the best Celtic Supporters in North America."

What makes the Durham Celtic Club special: "What makes the Celtic Club special is the Members. I became a member in 1999 and I was amazed at the dedication and commitment to the club that our members have. We have recently purchased the building that is home to the members of the Durham Celtic Supporters Club. I believe we are the only club in North America that have in fact purchased their own premises, this shows the type of dedication and commitment that our members have. Our club has a great atmosphere and our members are well known for the friendliness shown towards the large amount of visitors from all over the world that visit our club."
