DRSA AIM

Our goal is to provide the best skating and training enviroment we possibly can to the competitive skater.

At DRSA, we are striving to address al aspects of the skater's development.   To train a successful competitior requires more than on ice training time.  All factors must be considered such as the skater's schooling, time management, conditioning, nutrition and more.

We offer years of combined coaching experience involving every level from the beginning skater up to and including international competitors.  This experience is focused on developing each skater's potential.

DRSA's AIM is to present a comprehensive, worthwhile skating enviroment.

In the following web pages, you will find information and answers to questions you may have about the Durham Region Skating Academy.

Please feel free to email or call us if you require any further information.

Personal Achievement

DRSA is a training centre emphasing "Team Effect" and in every team the skater is the primary focus.  Parents, Coaches and trainers can offer the tools for the athletes to achieve their fullest potential, but it is up to the athletes themselves to be sure that their personal goals are accomplished.

Each skater must take responsiblity for his/her own actions on and off the ice.  Everyone must realize that the key word in Training Centre is "TRAIN".  You get what you give.  DRSA is a very proactive in the development of all athletes and will maintain the highest standard of training possible.

We will help create the best training enviroment technically, physically and emotionally, the rest is up to you.

So remember, you get what you give, and they you realize your highest goals and dreams.
It takes more than one person to create a champion.  With top level coaches and choreographers, nothing can be overlooked.  If we all work together
"we can make it happen."
