用水路の水面が、田圃に入るのに十分ではないので、ここでさらにポンプを使います。前回の訪問時、用水路に水が入る予定のことを聞いていましたから、３度水を出し入れしておいてもらうようにしてあったものです。これで、この実験田の一部を苗代として種を撒く準備が整いました。４月の上旬からＥＭ投入が始まり、１ヵ月半以上経ってはいますが、内心、本当にもう大丈夫なのか、という心配がつきまといます。もう賽は投げられたのですから、あとは、神に祈るばかりです。

We use the pump here again, since the water level in the channel is not high enough. During the last visit, we heard about the water coming in, so we had asked them to let the water in and out, 3 times. Now we are all set to plant rice, using a part of the experimental field as rice nursery. It has been more than a month and a half since the beginning of April, when EM was put in for the first time, but actually the worry can not be wiped out... is it really all right? The die is cast already. We have only to pray.
