マタン･トゥノン村から数キロ離れているマタン･パロ村。ここまで津波は押し寄せてきていたのですが、灌漑設備が整っており、自力で田植えが始まっていました。5月の訪問時では、ここでも実験田を始める計画が出ていましたが、その直後、すでに苗代作りと種まきがなされていたようです。

The village of Matang Paloh, a few kilometers from Matang Tunong. They have already begun to plant rice by themselves, using their irrigation facilities, although the waves have reached here also. In May there was a plan to set another experiment field here, but it seems the nursery was already made and the seeds sown shortly after the visit.
