Physical Description
Hair
Straight platinum-blond hair falls in one length to midway down his back. He does not bind it back in any way except in-flight, when it is wrapped around his head and covered with a square of cloth tied at the nape of his neck.Eyes
Narrow in shape; blue-violet in color which varies in intensity depending on the light quality, his mood, and his overall health, from pale grey-violet to medium indigo.Physique
About six feet in height with a medium build, slimmed down from years of wandering around and merely surviving. His hands are not very large, but his fingers are long and nimble, probably capable of playing an instrument or embroidering lace, if he cared to try. His shoulders are square.Appearance
The shape of his face is narrow but with a strong jawline, his cheekbones high, features rounded. His skin will not tan no matter how long his exposure to the sun. He does burn, but once it fades days later, not even freckles emerge to dapple his skin. Any scars on his body heal to a pinkish color hardly distinguishable from the rest of his skin. However, the most notable is a scar on his neck where a strand of Thread wrapped around it.Clothing
He generally wears light colors, shirts and vests worn in 2-3 layers of cool, lightweight fabric. His pants and footwear depend upon the occasion, but they too are not spectacular to look at. Long-bladed belt knife and leather gloves with half-fingers ("biker gloves").~ ~ ~
Personality
He rarely shows intense emotions, appearing to a stranger as if his washed-out appearance runs more than skin-deep. Usually he wears an expression of mild amusement, or affection when regarding his dragon and even his two firelizards. The latter were so-named because of the feeling firelizards gave him when he looked upon them. Something about their appearance as well as dragons deeply disturbed him, until he Impressed each, his awful feeling tamed a little each time the event occured. Around people he is generally quiet and objective, however when one can get that far, often find that he is surprisingly sensitive, knowledgable, and wise, with his usual tact.

None.Family
As a boy, S'gal's family was a group of nomadic traders. His only known blood relative is his twin brother once called S'gan (Salogan) but better known as Vash.Pets
Even at 12-Turns-old, Heebee would easily stick out as the smallest member in a crowd of his fellow Blues. He is a powder-blue little snugglebug, usually found on S'gal's shoulder grasping his hair like a baby blanket, though he tends to zip around in the air looking and sounding like a hummingbird.
Why is Jiebie so mangled in her appearance, and quite frankly her personality? Their mother was a wild queen whose clutch was laid on a secluded beach. They are the only two known survivors, both Impressing Sanogal when he was a child. Heebee was at first believed to be stillborn, but the boy massaged his chest and he fluttered to life, all this while the rest of the clutch hatched and went cannibal in their desperate hunger. Jiebie was barely alive by the time Sanogal shooed the others off, and was forced to focus his attention solely on her, attempting to nurse her back to life. It is possible that the only reason she survived was because of her relative size. |

History
Very much is unknown about S'gal. When he was Searched, he was a dirty youth of undetirmanable age wandering the countryside with Traders, though not of the Traders. They themselves did not know his origins or anything about him before joining their enterprise. Nor did he ever volunteer the information himself, and whether that was because he didn't know, refused to say, or couldn't was never discovered either.
Over the years, the boy learned many skills, from the basics of tailoring and leatherwork to hunting and cooking to reading, writing, singing and playing. Particularly, he had a knack for healing in the field; if ever there was a "green thumb" for patching things up, he had it. They were very sad to see him go.
He admitted to the Searchrider that he had always loved open spaces, to which the rider answered that if he could stand living in a cliff face part of the time only to fly on dragonwings, it would be worth it. The man had been right.
