Physical Description

Scales/hide

A deep blue, nearly cobalt in hue, spreads over the entirety of his body, with gold markings. The gold color is a rich, metallic dandelion-yellow, painting his wing sails, both top and bottom (minus wing tines), and at the center of his throat, what would be called a "star" on a cat or livestock animal.

Eyes

Aoognlth's are the large, insectlike eyes characteristic of "old world" dragons. Their color varies with his mood, which is often antagonistic or otherwise intense, flecked with oranges and yellows. Each eye has two sets of lids, one translucent, protecting the eye in-flight or under water.

Physique

By old world standards, Aoognlth is well within the size range for other Blues, at 26.1 meters from the tip of the nose to the tip of his spade-tail. His wings are large and powerful, best-used to keep up with his energetic bond, Blue Tesinith.

Appearance

As far as anyone can tell, Aoognlth is a full-blooded old world dragon. This means that instead of scales, he has a leathery hide that can become quite soft and supple with proper care. He has "head knobs," like horns on a giraffe, just behind his prominent eye ridges. His head is long and gator-like, and his body both serpentine and birdlike. His wings are batlike, with four "fingers" each, and a clawed "thumb." And of course, his tapering tail has a distinct spade at the tip.

Personality

Self-confident bordering on arrogant. He keeps trying to convince Tesinith that he's here forever, and will keep on trying. He knows what Tesinith's feeling, as their bond is deep. A swift flyer, since he needs to keep up with Tesinith on his "missions."

Hobbies

Most of Aoognlth's energies are spent keeping pace with his bond or displaying his prowess in front of the ladies. He does not normally intentionally show-off or flirt. It can be said that he has no hobbies, unless that which has been stated can be considered hobbies. He is, after all, rather competitive in a mostly friendly way.
