Let me start off by telling you that I was born in
Norristown Pennsylvania.
I lived there for five years. My family moved to
Philadelphia. I attended Benjamin Franklin
elementary school and then went to Fels Jr High School. I
went on to Northeast High School
where I would have graduated in 1974. I did not graduate
for a lot of different reasons,
first it was the 70's and it was cool to drop out. School
was very hard for me, I was just an
average student, I struggled just to pass. I have however
graduated from the
"School of Hard Knocks" LOL
During HS Ron (now my husband) asked me to go steady. We
dated thru HS and in 1975
got married. We lived in Phila til March of 1976 then moved
to Pensacola, Florida. This is
where we still live.
In 1978 our first daughter Kimberly was born. She got
married in September 1997.
In 1980 Melissa was born. She graduated from Woodham High
in 1998. She is currently working as a cashier. Melissa is planning an April wedding.
I have always worked, except for short periods when the
girls were small. I am a very people
oriented person. The jobs I have had were always where I
dealt with people. I have been a
nurse's aid, a private duty nurse, I have worked in fast
food, and am presently cashiering
at a Bar-b-que restuarant. I love doing any
job as long as I don't have to
sit behind a desk.
In 1996, we had a really big surprise...Our third daughter
Allyson was born. She has been
a real joy to me.
I have not had what you might call a glamorous life, but I
have a great husband and 3
wonderful children, I also now have a wonderful son-in-law.
And that counts for alot.
Wonderful news...I became a grandma in November of 99. You can see her picture on my family picture page
