Schedule of works 2002/03 – to commence 1st October 2002

 

Gardens

The gardens to be attended to on a monthly basis from March 2002 to September 2003 (seven visits)

Rose garden (including paved area)

Main Road Duston

Tidy, removal of weeds, feed and treat as necessary. Prune and dead head as necessary. Mulch once in the year with well rotted manure or similar (please specify).

Flower bed at the side of the Co-op Store

Main Road Duston

Tidy, weed, feed and treat as necessary.

Flower bed next to telephone box

Junction of Main Road Duston and Ashtree Way

Tidy, weed, feed and treat as necessary

War Memorial flower beds

Tidy and weed. Sweep pavings and litter pick. Twice yearly (May and November) replace the bedding plants with new ones. The November visit is important; it must take place during the week commencing Monday 5th November 2002.

 

Footpaths

The following footpaths to be cleared of litter and dog fouling right up to the boundary fence, hedge or wall (except for the lower part of 9 below, where the side of the path near to the garages in privately owned). Undergrowth and overgrowth on the path and its immediate edge to be removed and weedkiller applied as necessary. This to be done quarterly, during October 2002 and January, April and July 2003.

  1. Melbourne Lane to Hall Close
  2. The Scarplands to Princess Marina
  3. Squirrel Lane (runs next to the Melbourne pub through to the Squirrels car park)
  4. Stanfield Road to Princess Marina
  5. Southfield Road to Princess Marina
  6. Whitefield Road to Lodge Close
  7. Park Lane to Eldean Shops (tarmac path only)
  8. Brockwood Close to Limoges Court
  9. Bobtail Court to Clipston Way
  10. British Timken pathway

Please also indicate on your tender whether you would be available for any extra work which may arise occasionally (cost to be negotiated separately).
