What is with Leo Fortune-West he just can't settle down at any other club.  Leo had a good start to his football league career when he was plucked out of the non-league game to go to Gillingham where he was an effective target man.  Leo had left Gillingham to go to Sincil Bank the home of Lincoln City Football Club great things were expected of the big man from the Lincoln faithfull however he struggled there and only managed one goal in the second division when Lincoln lost faith with him and he was allowed to go on loan to Rotherham most Millers fans will know what happened at Rotherham for the target man he of course had a very successful period on loan with us.  His loan spell was a bit to successfull really because Leo attracted the attentions of several Football clubs including Ron Noades Brentford who managed to win the signature of the big man.
Leo failed at Brentford although in my opinion this wasn't his fault Ron Noades had been bringing in a lot of players to Griffin Park in his successful attempt of getting out of the Basement thius meant Leo had less than ideal opportunities to show to the Brentford faithull his ability as he often found himself having to be content with a place on the bench one of these matches were he was on the bench was an away match at Millmoor were he recieved a bad reception from the home fans. Rotherham then got one over Ron Noades who earlier in the season won manager of the month award despite Ronnie Moore having a superior record.  Moore signed Fortune-West from Brentford for around £25,000 much less than Brentford had paid for the Striker from Lincoln City.  Fortune -West successfully came back into the Millers line-up once again scoring for the red n White wizards  but then earlier this season Fortune-West left the club for Cardiff City for about £300,000.

He has however failed to impress at Brentford scoring two goals but recently he can be found on the Cardiff City bench and there is once again rumours that Fortune-West will find his home at Millmoor with the possibility once again of leo returning on loan although the price to Rotherham if the move was going to be permanant would have to be be a lot less than Cardiff payed for Leo.  There is also the matter of Alan Lee who has recently come on loan to Millmoor and has put in some good performances and looks a lot more accomplished on the deck than Leo and Moore may be able to sign Lee for less than Leo.
