CCF Sugar Plum Fairy
Charles, our youngest son, has a wonderful
neutered Aussie girl that he has started in
obedience. Her name is "Sugar"; she is the toy
queen. Here is her picture at 10 weeks old.
She's has passed over the rainbow bridge and
will be sorely missed.

FitzGerald's King Duncan
Duncan, besides being our last rescue,
also was a great junior dog. He had
the instinct for confirmation and kept
our son on his toes.

As a pup Duncan was afraid of his
shadow. He had been living on a
ranch with 12 other dogs. Being
bottom of the pecking order, he was
undernourished and basically ignored.

I fell in love with the sparkle still
visible in his eyes. Being a typical
Aussie, he found lots of jobs to do
around the house. Duncan kept us all
organized. Every morning 5 minutes
before my alarm would go off, I would
feel a cold nose pressed to my face
and one warm lick. Seven days aweek
Duncan was my alarm clock. Next he
wanted to go outside to see if our
geriatric horse (30 years old) had
water. Duncan would "bug" me until
Benson, the horse, was fed and his
water trough filled. We had another
dog whom Duncan took care of. If she
wanted out, Duncan came and got one
of us. Now he has gone on to the
Rainbow Bridge but will always be
loved and missed.
FitzGerald's Parker
We got Parker as a puppy. He was my saving grace
as my disability got worse. He loved going to the
groomers and returning with bows in his hair!
When I was first wheel-chair bound, Parker would
go places with me, keeping himself between me and
any strangers. He spent many days laying on the
bed with me as I recovered from bi-lateral hip
replacement surgery. We lost him eary due to
cancer. He will always be missed.
