Born in New York, Tom Welling was in several highschool plays, but never planned on becoming an actor. Instead he decided to wear lots of make up and fancy clothes. A MODEL!!! and who could resist such a sexy face as he? Anyway, he moved to Los Angelas in search of work in his new found career.
He landed a part on Judging Amy as Amy's love interest for 6 episodes before his role on Smallville.
He currently resides in Vancouver while filming Smallville. WEEE why haven't I seen him yet :(
