BYE BYE BIRDIE!!!

The lips are quite the logo, seeing that you can't enter a room backstage without getting molested :P

This has been so awesome.  This is the first play/musical I've been in and it's been so great.  I've had so much fun onstage and offstage, and I'm finally involed in a school department that I'm actually recognized for.  I mean, yeah go band i love it, but with Bye bye Birdie we've had a full auditorium every night.  No matter what kind of concert you put on you just can't get a sell out with Band. So yeah.  It's great to be part of something.  I'm going to be so depressed come Monday.  It's going to feel so weird coming home at 4:30 after school, seeing that I've been coming home at 7:30 for 3 months and this whole week going to school and being there for over 12 hours.  It's going to feel so weird.  Here's a review of all the night shows we've had so far.  well, Everything on stage went well, backstage is a different story.

Opening night:  AWESOME!  Energy was up, crowd was cheering, and everyone got over their nervousness, or I did at least

Matinee:  not too good, Ursula sprained her ankle climbing down the ladder backstage and albert spilled his water in the first scene, but otherwise went well.  there was about 400 kids there from different schools and they didn't get a lot of the humour seeing it was made in the 50's.  haha and in ED sullivan when we had to go sit out in the audience, the kid I sat beside kept moving farther and farther away from me ever so slowly.  haha.

Went to allison's house and had dinner there, then came back.

Same night of matinee:  Cursed Thursday everything backstage went horribly wrong.  ursula hurt her ankle even more, Mrs. MacAffee fell and banged her head, Conrad Birdie had an allergic reaction to the blush he was wearing and his eyes swelled up like golf balls, the Mayor ran into a flat, and even our director tripped and fell.  but the audience still loved it.

Friday Wooh my mom came to see me!  the auditorium was so full they had to set up more chairs.  And no one got hurt!!!no one got hurt!

Saturday: Closing Night Oh so well!  my mom came again and angelique was there too.  it went great.  and after the show we gave out the presents to the teachers involved , and we had pizza and cake after, and vincent and shea did their little set on the tenor sax and drums and we all danced to it and some 50's music.  and we all took lots of pictures.  and OMG Adrianna gave me her red coat for Hannukkah.  HER RED COAT!!!  THANK YOU!!!  MUAH!!!
