Synopsis
Upon entering the park the members of the investigative team checked and adjusted their equipment. After making sure that all equipment was operating properly, the team left the parking lot and moved onto the trail leading to the lake. About 15 feet from the shore Adam noticed a point of light coming from the direction of the lake. After pointing it out to John, John pointed out that he didn't think the light was quite right. The light was coming from the lake itself with no discernable source, unless from the bottom of the lake. Adam tried to take some pictures with the Mavica while John got some video on the Handycam with the "NightShot" on. The video shows a point of light coming from the surface of the lake. After observing this for a while the light would disappear only to reappear again a few moments later. Also, the light could only be observed from a certain location of the trail. John then decided to try and get closer to the shore and try to get a better shot of the phenomena. But after only a few steps John and Adam heard noises from the woods to their left. Both flashlights and the Handycam were trained to the spot, but nothing showed up to the camera or the naked eye. After a few moments more the noises increased and an overpowering sense of danger told the group that it was time to leave. While walking to the truck the noises could still be heard from the woods, like someone or something was walking among the trees and bushes. Once in the truck the group felt a little better but still felt threatened. Adam caught more video while the group was driving out of the park and down the road through the woods. At this time it is inconclusive whether lights in the video while the group was leaving the park are from the houses of a nearby development, or occult members in the woods, or even sprits.
NOTE: It is suspected that this park has been used in the past, and possibly even the present, for occult and satanic worships in the woods. It is rumored that there is, or once was, up to three separate alters concealed in these same woods, some dating back to the 1700's. Exploration at night is strongly discouraged, as it is not know exactly who is using the woods and for what purpose.
