John had heard about this ghost while on vacation in Greensboro NC. The story that he was told was that a young girl was killed in a car accident while on her way to or coming back from a dance. John has yet to dig up any more information about the story and the ghost. Upon arriving at the site he parked the car on the shoulder and waited for traffic to wane. After the last car left he got out and looked at the old railroad bridge abutments. The bridge is still used today by the Norfolk Southern, but is quite old. Estimated build date could go back as far as the 60’s or 70’s. But it is also possible that the bridge has been rebuilt and that the site is much older. After looking at the graffiti John then climbed up the embankment to the railhead above. About halfway up the hill John saw a shadow to his left hand side keeping pace with him. John stopped and observed the shadow for a few seconds at which point the shadow darted into the woods. John continued up the slope to the top and took movie video at the top of the railhead. The line runs east to west and used to be a double mainline, but no is only a single main. After looking around for a few minutes, John then climbed back down the slope and left. Not much was felt at the site, but impressions were confused. John felt some confusion and bewilderment at his presence and that was about it.
