Anyways... yesterday, I get up at 11. Take a shower and go downstairs. My dad was watching ER so I sit down and watch some with him. Not much later, mum comes home from the store and Steve arrives as well. Mum brought lunch from McDonalds, :) I eat, pack, and talk with Steve. (He stole some manga from me and took some of his games back... JERK! :) ) Then I waited, somewhat impatiently, for mum to get ready to go. Once we're outside, we find out that Steve couldn't leave because he's van's brake line is crap. So he was pretty much stuck here until my brother Doug came out (I wasn't here for that, which I'm glad.) Mum drops me off at Sherry's and we then precede to play a lot of video games. I swear to god... O.o... we made it through most of Super Mario Brother's 3. There's like 8 or 9 levels... we got to 7. :) I hate to admit, mostly to Sherry's work. I was never really good at the Mario games... ::shrugs:: But it's fun anyway. After awhile we take a break when Sherry's mum arrived with the pizzas. Her brother arrived a few minutes later.
The tales of abuse are not unfounded. Though Sherry does have her faults in these fights. But he wasn't there for long anyway. We then watched 8 Mile. I have to say if you like rapping and sex... then that's the movie for you. Personally, I thought it was a dumb piece of shit that made my IQ fall just from watching it. After the movie we decided to go for a walk.
We walked over to that little Laundromat near her park. The walk over was not fun to say the least. We took her little short cut through the wood branches. I lost my flip-flop 2 times, and at the end I fell and couldn't get up for a few minutes, I had trapped my leg under me. So afterwards, my leg hurt and my pants and flip-flops were dirty. Sherry offers to wash them when we got back along with hers... (I don't remember if she fell, but I do think she stumbled a little bit)
At the Laundromat we played some games and had a snack from the vending machines. Five bucks does not last very long in that place. But it was nice to get away from video games for a little while. When we got back we played a variety of games including scrabble (board game), wheel of fortune, perfect dark, some pac man game, smash brothers, and monopoly. (::sighs:: Yes... that was a lot of games!) Eventually bed was mentioned, and I went out and set up bed on her couch. We then tried to find something on TV, but nothing was on accept all the crap about the war. Which I'm really sick of by the way. Then around 2, Sherry and Ginger left me to my sleep. Which I didn't get much of.
That night I really wasn't feeling well. I was in and out of the bathroom a few times. (not throwing up, but I sure felt like it.) I only got a few hours sleep. So I'm really tired right now. At about 7, I turned the TV on and watched it without sound. Which I found really annoying. But, what can you do when it's early morning and everyone else is asleep? I tried calling home to see if mum could come and get me. But no one answers so I decide to wait awhile.
Eventually Sherry gets up and the Super Mario Brothers playing continues. I got tired of it real fast, and call mum. I then go home. At home I make lunch, (not having had breakfast though... I don't really like the meal and if I would eat at school, I don't know if I would even really have the meal except the fact that if I don't I get sick... I wonder why...) Then mum says after I finished eating we'd give the cat a bath.
That wasn't fun. I have 3 scratches. 2 of them are minor. But the one on my hand went pretty deep and bleed for awhile. Quite painful. Not to mention that the cat didn't want to come out of the basement until I went down with his food and coaxed him out. But he still isn't really happy with me. Oh well, not my problem at the moment.
I have a paper due Monday and I'm so tired that I can't even concentrate on the damn thing. I think I'll have to take dad's suggestion and take a nap. Otherwise Seidl isn't going to get a very good paper.
Hikaru-chan, you have a lot of guts to finally tell your mum. But remember, I'll be there for you if you need me. :) (I know you know that, but it's nice to be reminded of that at times.) ::sighs:: I think I may just go and get that nap in... later.
By the way, I've never slept over at Sherry's again. I've actually gone out of my way to avoid that happening. And I will continue to do so, since she now has her boyfriend living with her and I'm already uncomfortable enough going over there without having to stay the night. Remind me to go hurl. -_-
