Kai's Latest Milestones...
The past several months have flown by! Kai is now 13 months old and has really become a hoot! He loves to be around people and flirts with just about every female that catches his eye ... he's a real chick magnet!
He started climbing on everything sometime in November and can now get up and back down on most things within reach. He's doing a better job on stairs too after a few minor tumbles. He's babbling a lot these days and starting to sound like he will talk any day. He still says "mamamama", "dadadada" and few other choice words and phrases.
Kai's 1st birthday has come and gone and it was a lot of fun. All Kai's favorite friends and family members were there to celebrate with him. The highlight was the birthday cake feast ... Kai was giving his very own birthday cake to devour. He did a fine job and ended up with icing covering or filling every crevice on his face, ears, eyes, hair and even left a few stains on Mamaw's carpet ... ooops! Kai was able to spend some time with Pa and Ma Waggs from Evansville while they were in town recently and had a really nice time. We had an early Wagner holiday at Great Grandma Waggs' house in Wadsworth and then Kai got to watch his first Browns/Steelers game with Pa Waggs, Uncle Jeremy and daddy. It was cool but those darn Steelers pulled it off in the end ... ouch!
Kai spent Thanksgiving in Phoenix, Az. this year while visiting Aunt Mikie. He also spent lots of time with Grandma Judy, Grandpa Rick, Aunt Stacy, Uncle Ruben and his new buddy Sunny ... Sunny is Rick and Judy's loving dog that Kai just couldn't get enough of! I think Kai was the only little one on the plane that didn't get a bit fussy on either leg of the trip ... we really lucked out!
We're looking very forward to this Christmas and have already put out the tree and decorations. Although with Kai's latest thrill, the golf club swing into the Christmas tree, we'll be sure to keep the lower hanging ornaments out of reach. We plan on having Christmas morning at our house with Aunt Mikie, Uncle Mike, Mamaw, Papaw, Grammy Waggs and Granpa Basil ... should be a blast!
