HWF Rules |
|||||||
Here are the efed rules. There may be some holes, but we will fill them in as time goes by. Wrestler Selection - multiple characters are allowed and encouraged. However, you cannot have more than one wrestler or team per division. So one Heavyweight, one IC, one Tag, and one female. Divisions - currently there are four divisions: Heavywieght, IC, Womens, and Tag. Hopefully this will expand in time. Wrestlers can change divisions, but the one wrestler per division rule holds. With little exceptions, only wrestlers in a division will get a title shot. Title shots will be handed out based loosely on rankingd and current feuds. Interactivity - all players have a certain amount of character control. They can decide who to ally and feud with. Any storyline ideas at all should be submitted to dwain. Players are encouraged to roleplay on the message board, though, unlike other efeds, role playing is not required to win a match. Roleplaying (RPing) - Rping is posting on the message in character. These posts can include, what the wrestlers say, wear, do, etc. many times they are done in the context of an interview. They may not include other wreslters like backstage assaults. (if you want that to happen email dwain and ask him to do it during a show) You can roleplay as much as you want before a show. but you can only gain two charisma points (will be explained below) which are temporary, per show. Please keep profanity at a minimum, act like it actually something that would be said on raw or smackdown!. Environment. The Efed is our version of the wwf. It will begin with the royal rumble in january. There will be two shows per week, Raw is War and Smackdown!. Cards for the matches will be posted two days before shows. There will be occassional payperview shows. Results will be posted (usually) Mon and Thurs nights after the actual shows. Matches: Matches are set up in all kinds of ways depending on current storylines. here is how matches in HWF work. Each wrestler has three skills: Charisma, Technical Ability, and Brawl Ability. During matches, these stats are put up against each other. Based on the differences in stats, a different calculation is used. For example: Wrestler A vs Wrestler B: A Char: 17 Tech: 14 Brawl: 10 B Char: 10 Tech: 19 Brawl: 13 The difference in all abilities are calculated. In this cases the calc will look like this Char: +7A, Tech: +5B, Brawl: +3 B Now dice are rolled according to this calc. If the difference is 0-5 the roll is 1d6 vs 1d6 6-12 it is 1d6 vs 2d6 favoring the stronger 13 and up 1d6 vs 3d6 favoring stronger This gives new numbers: A vs B Char: 7-3 Tech: 3-4 Brawl: 5-4 A wins the match 2-1. Because he or she won 2 of three skill contests. Any ties are thrown out allowing 2-0, or 1-0 scores for ex. The amount by which you win the match will change the end of the match. 3-0: always a clean win 2-0: usually a clean win 1-0: Dq, countout or non clean win 2-1: " " 1-1: No contest 0-0: " " For Tag matches team members scores are added together before pitted agains thteir opponents. For triple threats and fatal fourways, wrestlers are paired up against each other in round robin style to determine winner. Charisma points from rps are added in AFTER the dice role. So if B rped the score for charisma would have been 7-4, or 7-5. This can mke a big difference in matches so rping is very beneficial. Can you improve your score? Everyone gets experience after matches. Winners get two points to distribute in any manner between skill areas, losers get one point. If you win a match and win a title, you get three points to distribute. Heavyweights start out with scores higher than IC wrestlers and IC highers than single members of tag teams who are generally stronger than women. Tag team scores start out so that combined they have a slight advantage over a single heavyweight. I realize this all sounds confusing, but it works much better than having a person decide who is better and who should win, this combines math and probability, allws better wrestlers to have advantages, and also room for growth.
