One Minute Reviews: 13 Days: really neat movie, looked like a great movie for Cuban Missile Crisis buffs. I wasn't one but had one with me. Anyone else think that Kevin Costner's accent was a little too thick. He sounded like he was impersonating Ted Kennedy. What Women Want: I thought it was a cute movie. My advice: DON'T LOOK TOO FAR INTO IT! It was supposed to be cute and silly, not a scientific work. Watching Mel Gibson do a Sean Connery impression made the movie worth it. Unbreakable: This movie is about about comic books and superheroes, don't let the previews and trailers. I like how they did the movie and the end surprised and pleased me more than the Sixth Sense (which is also Bruce WIllis and from the same director). As a comic book reader Iiked it, but I think you can enjoy it for its own merits. Proof of Life: This was a really cool movie. I was really worried they would try to start sometihng between Ryan and Crowe and make it a chick movie, but it ended up being a great action suspense flick. David Caruso of all people steals the show. I know you don't beleive me so just watch it. Charlies Angels: I will admit, I felt dumber after watching it. However it did have hot women and lots of action. There were a lot of parts that had me laughing my butt off and others parts I was straining to find a reason to keep the movie on. Overall, it is worth watching - if someone else pays for the rental. |
