Hole 1 Par 4
This picturesque starting hole
offers many obstacles that need to be overcome from tee shot to approach shot. Your first shot on this hole should be a long drive to the left side of the tree which is about 200 yards straight ahead. If you put it behind the tree you could have a tough second shot. There is also a water hazard that you must account for about 300 yards and on the right side of the fairway. With a strong drive and the downhill slope to the fairway it wouldn’t be hard to go swimming with your tee shot. After you have hit your tee shot prepare yourself for a long approach to a small elevated green. You must be very accurate to hit this shot good and prepare yourself for a birdie. Even if the birdie escapes you don’t feel bad because a par is still a good score on this hole, and most golfers find themselves struggling to bogey.
