Hole 9 Par 5
Hole 9 at Orchard Hills is a beautiful finishing hole. It is a long par 5 which
allows you the opportunity to open it up and hit the ball as far as you care to
try. Hole 9 boasts the largest of the fairways allowing you to test your power.
There are trees along the left and right side of the fairway but even the most
novice golfers find it hard to hit it into the trees here. The largest obstacle
off of the tee here is that the green is hidden from sight. Have no fear though
it is merely hidden behind a hill in the middle of the fairway and should be easily
visible from your second shot. Your second shot on this par 5 should allow you
the opportunity to putt for eagle on your 3rd. If you aren’t able to get
it on the green however, there is still the opportunity to chip it close and putt
for birdie. Be careful though, hole number 9 has the hardest green to putt on.
The green at 9 slopes slightly from back to front so your chip should put you
down hill from the hole giving you the easiest putt possible.
