I often sit up late at night And watch the Angels take their flight They flutter by and kiss my cheek There is something in them that I seek The look upon their angelic face Like something not of this human race Floating on the clouds above Always spreading Joy and Love They sprinkle smiles on everyone Their main objective is to have fun There is an angel sent to watch over you She love you no matter what you do They are gorgeous, perfect, holy beings With creative, thoughtful, loving feelings A solataire, simple touch From their hand is just to much So, in short, I have to say Be sure to thank your Angel day to day This is by my grand-daughter, December-Dawn...written for me to use upon this page...copyrighted September 11, 2001. |

Belief in Angels has been an element in Christianity since its beginnings before Christ (1000 - 600 B.C.). The origins in the belief of angels can be traced to the ancient Persian religion of Zoroastrianrism. Early church fathers debated on how to include and whether they should include Angels into the Christian dogma. St. Paul did favour exalting Angels but in 325 A.D., the council of Nicea decreed that faith in angels was allowable. |
