In lieu of recent wordly events, I take a moment to create this page...so that this kind of abhorence is NEVER repeated AGAIN!!!



We have to remember that not Middle Easterners are terrorists and before mob frenzy sets in, and we're accusing our neighbours of all sorts of known and unknown atrocities, we need to take a step back and take another view of situations. We need to take a deep breath before jumping the gun and seeing terrorists in every person who doesn't "fit" into the "normal" ways of society...because if we do not then we will be lining folks up for the gas chambers just as Hitler once had a dream of doing.



Hitler wished to annihilate the Jewish nations for not "fitting" into his "normal" ways. He had the ability to "work a crowd" and before you know it, folks began to disappear...slowly at first, without hardly anyone noticing. Then word "leaked out" and when Hitler noticed not too many folks were saying a whole heck of alot...he stepped up his efforts to "rid" himself of people he thought of as pestilence...terrorists if you like.



Hitler's propaganda machines were having a hey-day, keeping the average folk at bay about what was REALLY occuring behind closed doors. He turned some his hellish concentration/death camps into freaking Club Med type places and the folks back home ate that garbage up. The rose-coloured glasses being provided by Hitler and his SS boys, and they were tinted just right. The average folk sighed and relaxed and looked the other way, pooh-poohing those awful rumours that word spread occassionally.



For many years the torture and mayhem occured before the prescription wore off the glasses and the truth finally shone thru. With the help of resistance groups, sympathizers and the breaking of the German front did it finally escape and the horror could be stopped...but only after 12 million people had been removed from the planet...removed because they were seen as misfits, freaks, thieves, liars, murderers, etc. etc. etc. The "crimes" weren't important, just the fact that they were "different" was.



I ask that we be careful, that we don't make the same mistakes again and again...that if we hear of rumours of folks being "rounded-up", that we stop and look at the "rumour" again...it could very well be true, but if we opt for the rose-coloured glasses, then many innocent people could be killed...
