Looking for an MP3 player?  How about next year's model?  Thin as can be and sporting up to 128 megabytes of memory, this player was enough to get me drooling.

The Player's Player

    In addition to selling every electronics item known to man, vendors were selling enough wires, chips, transistors, resistors and boards to build anything that could not be bought.  Though by now I was ready to start getting my mail forwarded to an electric town address, I was able to pry myself away in order to meet Pete and Alex.  On the way to the train station to meet them I saw a billboard for Yahoo Japan.  An uplifting reminder that while we may not have the best gadgets, we have the most evolved Internet in the world.  Take that Japan!

    I remember seeing Alex for the first time and it looked like Gulliver among the Lilliputians.  He was clearly the tallest man on the island.  Alex was tired and confused (though not any more so than usual) so we went right back to Colin's apartment so that he could get cleaned up and drop off his things.
