Is Rush Always Right?

Is Rush
Always Right?  What a question!  I've got a bumper sticker on my van that reads "Rush Is Right!", I've even got a whole division of my website devoted to him (you're reading in that division right now).

But, is Rush always right?  The only possible answer is "NO", at least as far as I'm concerned.

Don't get me wrong - I agree with Rush about 95% of the time.  Here's where I disagree with him;

Rush is the greatest "humanist" I've ever even heard of.  As far as he's concerned, mankind is the only all-important item on the face of the Earth.  I don't agree - I usually think of mankind as a pox on the world.

Rush thinks, as far as I can determine, that anyone who is in the least interested in the environment is an "environmental wacko".  OK, I'm guilty - if that's true.  The Bible says that man was given dominion over the world - I read that as implicitly giving man both domination over everything
and making man responsible for taking care of the world.  Personally, I think if it weren't for the "environmental wacko's" of the world, we would soon have no environment to be wacko over.

By the way, I agree with his philosophy on "global warming".  I think it's one of the biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated on mankind.  While it's true that we have some effect on the world-wide environment, what little effect we have is based on 5% (or less) of "green house gasses".  Did you ever watch a volcano?  Just one volcano, erupting, has more effect on our environment in one day than all of mankind does in a year.  That's a simple fact.  The sun contributes more to warming our world more in a day than all of mankind in its entire history.  Besides, it's well documented that our little world experiences "cycles" of warmth and cold - large cycles involving millions of years, and small cycles involving tens of years.  We don't have any effect at all on these cycles.

Other than that small item, I can gladly assert that "yes, Rush is Usually Right"!!!
