Music, music, MUSIC!!! What fun would life be if there were no tunes?? T.V. is boring (unless playing a good game of 007) and with bands such as KoRn, Tool, Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd who wouldn't want to listen to music? I like all kinds of music (well, maybe except for bands like Hanson; I don't like bands who haven't gone through pueberty yet) but tend to be persuaded by the heavier bands and the great bands of the past.
For those of you who are not familiar with this AWESOME band, KoRn is a group who's style of music is very heavy with a somewhat of a "rap" twist. There is more evidence of the "rap" in their latest albulm, Follow the Leader. I prefer their previous two albulms, KoRn and Life is Peachy.
KoRn consists of 5 very talented individuals. Jonathan Davis sings and also plays bagpipes. Munky and Head play guitar and Head also does backup vocals. David is on the drums and Fieldy plays bass. The band formed in 1993 and is doing quite well. If the Family Values Tour comes around again, I encourage ALL to see that show!! Not only is the music kick ass but the energy that you feel when Davis is screaming on stage is UNBELIEVABLE!
Tool, one of my favorite bands. I consider their music more art than anything. The creativity and effort that they put into their music is enough to put any band to shame. The videos always rock, the riffs are SO original, and the singing so exceptional.
Four very talented people make up this band. Maynard James Keenan (and his spectacular voice) sings for the band, Adam Jones plays the guitar, Danny Carey is on drums and the newest member to the band, Justin Chancellor, plays bass. Justin replaced original bass player Paul D'Amour in 1995.
ZEPPELIN!!! Talk about a band that rocks. Not only did they COMPLETELY ROCK when they were in their prime, but Robert Plant was quite a cutie!! ;P he he he They rocked backed then and they are still rocking on now. Talk about a legend....
The band formed in 1968 and if you don't know at least two names of the band members, you should be drug out into the street and shot! :) Jimmy Page was the bands phenominal guitarist, John Paul Jones played bass guitar and keyboards, John Bonham pounded away on the drums and Robert Plant sang for this legendary band.
Pink Floyd in my opinion is the greatest classic rock band EVER!! They have such an original and unmistakable sound. Their creativity alone should name them best band of the millenium!
The band formed in 1965 and originally consisted of 5 members; Syd Barrett, Bob Close, Rick Wright, Nick Mason, and Roger Waters. Close left the band early and probably regrets it to this very day. Syd played guitar (later replaced by Dave Gilmor), Rick was the pianist, Nick played drums, and Roger Waters played bass.
The band had many names but decided on Pink Floyd by combining the names of two jazz artists Pink Anderson and Floyd Council.
