Woke up this mornin’ with the taste of last night’s confidences still on my breath

Makes me want to let my teeth go a day or so let that sweet freedom roll around where it ain’t used to being tasting those sweet little happinesses like nothing the boss got to say gonna get to me today

Curl my tongue around the happiness that ran so thick I can still taste it sliding sweet down my throat running in slow moving rivers

Car can’t hit me, man on the street can’t piss me off I can stop running for a bit from memories you made me forget with the blinding flash that turned into those rolling, rolling rivers

I go off to work with a jaunt in my step ‘cause he and she and she don’t know what I know about what you can do.
