This is where you may send me on an errand to ask any professor anything you'd like to know. (As if I don't already have enough to do!?! I am Professor Snape's apprentice, after all.)

A History of "Ask-a-Prof":

I feel I should explain the reason for this part of the site, as it is not voluntary on my part. Thus, this little story.

I live at Hogwarts. I am an apprentice here. The pay is low, the hours are terrible, but the experience is well worth it. (Or so I'm told. Continually.)
When I nearly had heart failure without a muggle computer and internet access, Professor Snape insisted that Professor Dumbledore find a way to make an acception for me. "I cannot have my apprentice dying over such a trivial muggle matter." I believe those were his exact words. He cares for me more than I realized. *smirk*

I am now the only person at Hogwarts to have such a delightful (and
necessary!) muggle "luxury."

There is, of course, a catch. In order to keep this blessing, I am now in charge of organizing a path of communication for students, parents, and any other wizards to ask the professors (and other non-students) here at Hogwarts any questions they might have or give any comments or concerns they'd like to express. Yes, muggles may ask questions as well.

I am the Potion Master's Apprentice (yes, that's my
official title) and so I have easiest access to him, but he has already refused to give any answers to questions deemed unworthy. You're welcome to ask what you wish, but I make no guarantees. He's quite grouchy.

As for the other professors, they welcome any questions or comments quite readily and all will probably respond quite gladly. I must remind you, however, that some of the professors like me better than others, and that may affect what kind of response I get from them.

For a list of all those professors, creatures, etc. avaliable for questions, see the lists below.

All questions and responses will be posted and links will be found on this page as soon as they are ready. Please be patient as it takes a certain amount of finesse, time, and effort to get this done without losing my position here at Hogwarts.
